This kind of video is indispensable to so many people who are not mechanically inclined (like me!) but who want to learn how to take care of their own equipment instead of relying on a dealer who may or may not do the job correctly and charge a fair price. I have this exact mower, and now I have one more piece of the puzzle firmly in place. Thank you. I'm very grateful.
Thanks a million for this - My Z723 now back up and running - That tip about using the breaker bars for leverage on the idler/ tensioner wheels absolutely priceless
I’ve got the Kubota z724 and wanted to be sure I could replace the belts after stupid stray branch through the drive belt. Thank you for a great video.
Thank you for making this video. My drive belt broke on my z726x it looks the same as yours. I believe need to loosen the bracket that keeps the clutch from turning and the wire, take the mower belt off and work the drive belt up into position. And, then put it all back together.
Thanks for the video! My PTO clutch is fine but I discovered I have 2 broken motor mount bolts as well! The other 2 apparently rattled all the way out who knows when. I wanted to remove the motor to get better access to get the broken bolt holes drilled out.
Does anybody have any ideas my transmission belt is too stretched and I need to replace it but the spot where you use a 3/8 wrench is rounded out and I’m so confused on what I could do next.

That's the best way to do it. You don't even have to unhook the cables.
How do you get the bolt out I'm trying but it spends the whole moter
Good job , great video !
Thanks!

Just grab the tensioner pulley and hold it back then pull and remove the belt. Wear gloves.
