    I love love love supermarkets in other countries! Every time I go to Europe the first thing we do is go to the supermarkets. In Greece I’m always at AB, Masoutis and Sklavenitis. In France it’s Monoprix. We brings heaps of stuff home that we can’t buy here in Australia . Thankfully our allowance is 40kg each lol.

    Is going to the museums and Downton Doha worth it most of my favorite architects have projects there like ( I. M. Pei ) ( John McAslan ) ( Rem Koolhaas ) & ( Jean Nouvel ) I’m asking because I feel like you’re videos feel very real and honest

      The museums are definitely worth it. I am not sure about the buildings downtown as I don't know much about the architects and which buildings they are. If they are residential, you might only be able to see them from the outside.

      I thought about it, but in Qatar it could get staff in trouble, which I don't want to do. This is why I put up the do not disturb for many days. I don't need daily housekeeping so I didn't mind.

    Have you got a gym or a swimming pool in the hotel? Was work in Doha different from other countries? It seems quite stressful. Is it similar to Dubai? I just visited Dubai. There were many foreign workers, but there was not many Chinese. How much did you spend on grocery each day? Did you have to buy bottled water?

    • @agirlandherpassport
      @agirlandherpassport  8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      It had both. It’s a bit different as people like to have lots of in person talks without scheduling anything but not very different. It is similar to Dubai but much smaller and feels more like the Middle East where as Dubai feels made up. I don’t know how much I spent. I didn’t pay attention. The hotel gave me water and we have it at work as well.

      Some five star hotels were quite cheap during this time of the year in Dubai, was only like $120/night. Didnt know if that's the case in Doha as well, but it does look like the facilities and malls resemble Dubai a lot. It must be fun to meet the Doha locals?@@agirlandherpassport

    Doha mistake #1 - don’t use logic. Of course they want you to conserve your towels but at the same time leave the lights on. 😂
    It’s a shame your company won’t put you up in one of the MANY places in West Bay that have kitchens.
