You have the best how to videos for Accords on TH-cam. And yes I watched them all. I followed your brake job one and trans and it went flawlessly, this is next. Thanks!!
Thank you so much for this! Do you plan to do a thermostat change for this too? I’ve heard doing this and a thermostat change is good practice. Would love to see your take on it!
@@OMAR-5656You can because you have already been venting the system to atmosphere with the funnel mechanism vs the normal closed system with hot air/expanded coolant fluid which is what causes a pressure build-up which explodes when exposed to atmosphere.
Was the leak a head gasket issue? I heard these 1.5t are notorious for that. I replaced my fluid at 50k just to be safe, but the head gasket worries me
If you’d prefer to not use that funnel, you’d be better off just starting the car and quickly return to the front of the vehicle pouring coolant in as it bubbles/gulps. I wouldn’t seal it off as this may cause an air pocket/over heating.
Appreciate your videos. They are so detailed, informative, and helpful. Thank you!

Is it the same procedure for 2019 RDX? The system will bleed by itself?
If i dont have the fancy funnel can i just fill put the press cap back on run for 15m turn off re fill and run it for 15m again?
