You know, I've played a lot of skyrim, it's an important game in my life... But I did NOT expect the nostolgia to hit THIS HARD within the first 5 seconds. Now I remember why I go back every few years.
Funny to come across this comment as I find myself deeply obsessed with Skyrim again for the first time in about 5 years. Waiting for the release of Starfield has me playing Skyrim from scratch with mods for the first time and it's an experience almost as enjoyable as my first time playing it. It brought me to videos like this one as lately I've had Skyrim ambience stuck in my head for the last few nights. What an influential, iconic game.
@@SUPERxNOVA17I love memories and comments like this. Not many games merit such an impactful experience that just keeps giving. Like Baldurs Gate 3 has more everything, on paper, but I know which of the two I'll be playing again in 10 years
Skyrim actually saved me from taking my life a few years ago. I was very depressed and had nothing in my life to look forward. (Edit: the reason why I was so depressed was because I lost my best friend and my sister in only a few months) I planned out everything on how I would off myself and the date. But then i got Skyrim, out of the blue. I started playing it and i became obsessed with it. I was so obsessed that I skipped the chosen day. Throughout me playing my first run of Skyrim i became more happier i started doing things outdide of my house more evern though I played Skyrim a lot. I'm just glad I'm here today. Thank you Bethesda!
I love this. When I hear it, it takes me to another world. I'm the dragonborn, venturing through Whiterun hold on my way to the 7,000 steps. I decide to make camp for the night in a little abandoned shack by the river. I light up the fireplace, and toss my bedroll down over the shack's old wooden bedframe. I listen to the critters of the night and the rain gently falling over my shack as I'm whisked away to the dreamlands of Vaermina. God, I love this game so much. Thanks for uploading this man.

I LOVE the black screens. I’ve been looking for this exact kind of video for months and this is the only one that is everything I need. I love sleeping to this.
Damn. That skyrim “night music” with rain just reminds me of a time when life was simple, and I could actually be at peace, having nothing to worry about you know? It’s crazy to think back on that in a time where there’s so much chaos within the current events. We’ve all grown up, and life gets us so stressed out. It’s sad that a lot of us feel this way. But I just hope that everyone here finds some love within thia video; & can actually help you forget about all burdens you shoulder.
Honestly this has helped me relax better than any other night time rain/fireplace/ocean video I've tried. It's so nostalgic, thank you for making this.
I thought it was only me who was here. I fall asleep thinking about the currents that were near my humble little house where my children spent their time. We love those memories. And they review these videos for me. 😄😋
i know its definitely not the focus of the game, but i cant help but think of the domestic life i built for myself in Skyrim. seeing little Lucia run around Whiterun all on her own... i saved up to by Breezehome just for her. as soon as i bought all the furnishings, i ran down to her and took her in. damn near cried at that point, hearing this virtual low-poly child so happy to have a home and a father. everytime i went out, id find something for her, whether it be a dagger for her protection, or a dolly for her to play with, or a sweetroll for her to enjoy. after a while, i married Balimund in Riften (yep, Lucia's got two dads lol) and now he lives with me in Breezehome. heading back after a long adventure of fighting draugrs and slaying dragons and hearing "Papa!" and "Good to see you, dear." just makes everything so worth it. waking up with Father's Love and Lover's Comfort too. i know its just a game, but god it means so much to me. thanks for this upload
this is the most beautiful and comforting night time sleep video i’ve listened to. it’s weird it’s like i trust it. definitely what i’m listening to from now on. i’ve never even played skyrim either as it was slightly before my time, 18.
@masonreich I hate to admit it, you're REALLY missing one of, if not THE best video game experience you'll ever have. The main theme song is the same composition by Jeremy Soule in every game, albeit with slight variances. It is in EVERY GAME, trust me. I'm old, lol, but I actually played Oblivion first; on the DAY OF RELEASE. It's my personal favorite, but I believe our individual preferences come from our very 1st ES experience. I had originally tried to play Morrowind, but I was raising my daughter (in 2002, she was only 7 yrs old), and you really need to immerse yourself in order to appreciate Morrowind. So by the time Oblivion was released (2005 or 06, I think) she was 10 yrs old, and the best part was having her by my side as I played it. Omg! Escaping with the Emporer through the secret passageways under the castle! ... We'd been attacked by these HUGE rats throughout, (it was just my one character, but I was never alone because I had my sidekick with me through it all), when suddenly, these 2 rats ran towards us, but then, they ran right past us... Wtf? We KNEW we were in trouble...OMG, what IS that?! ZOMBIES! One, with no head & ½ an arm chopped off, the other had a head, but it's lower jaw was missing and it's tongue was just flopping around... AHHHH!!! I ran like hell, but nope, I HAD to turn & fight...and I survived!!! It just got better & better... Fast forward to 2011, and we had been counting the days too, SKYRIM was released! We were at GAMESTOP at midnight for the release, just as we had been for Oblivion...and the rest is history. I am 60 years young this past summer. I was a quarter girl at an arcade when I was 16 yrs old (during the PACMAN & Donkey Kong craze), so I've been an AVID GAMER for many years... all through SNES, PS, PS1, XBOX, PS2, XBOX360 (my personal favorite) PS3, PS4 & now PS5. I mostly play on my pc now because I built my own system & I LOVE to mod my games. One thing is for certain: once people saw there was money to be made in the video game industry, it was forever changed...and NOT for the better. Before that, video games were, first & and foremost, a labor of love. Now? Not so much. But know this: there never has been, nor do I believe there will EVER be the same kind of excitement or gaming experience again, as there was during the release of Morrowind, Oblivion & Skyrim. There has never been a franchise as beloved as THE ELDER SCROLLS. We've played ESOnline (my daughter is now 27 yrs old & we play together), but it's just not the same. We've been waiting for the next single-player Elder Scrolls game... Perhaps some day... So, sit back, relax, and play either Shyrim or Oblivion. You'll be thankful you did...and forever changed. Well met!

Fuck yeah thats why i tried skyrim vr and it was ass but i think one day thel make some animus thing where u can almost jump into your favourite games worlds😊
I think I may have to reinstall and mod Skyrim again. Walking around at night with a torch in hand and having the rain hit the stoney roads I walk on with my steel plate boots all while having an Enb installed is a different feeling of calmness. Skyrim is by far the no#1 game with the best music to ever hit the gaming market. Every time of day, every place and every situation has the most fitting musical piece I've ever heard in my life. The piece in this video for example reminds me of walking, yes walking, from Whiterun all the way to Ivarstead, down the steep road after the Valtheim Towers, past the necormancers at Fort Amol, up to Nilheim and crossing Sarethi Farm before turning right into Ivarstead. Skyrim gives me a sort of nostalgia that no other game can.

@@tummynumner6281you should have lmaooo
"I was once an arrow like you! Then I took an adventure to the knee!"
Wouldve been great if only it didn’t wake me up with ads every 2 seconds
Its weird. I dont remember Secunda ever sounding this high pitch but it seems to be how it normally is. I didnt even play Skyrim that long ago.
There’s so many songs in skyrim, feels a bit lazy that it’s secunda over and over primarily ):
It’s for people like me who’s fav is Secunda. I used to play it on repeat to sleep on Spotify and I WISHED it had rain in the background. So this is like a dream come true for me😭
I considered adding more, but this is the most popular and sometimes variety can take away from the calmness/empty brain-ness.
Ntm I made this for me, lol I just made it public in case others wanted it
The music is the reason I mostly traveled on foot than fast travel unless it was a cross map traviel like riften to morthal
Ok so nice and relaxing and nastalgic but I can't sleep to it cause I know in like two seconds imma hear a dragon fly around the corner or a troll bash my skull in.
That cricket is way too freaking loud for me to sleep
Just as you wish you could live in Skyrim, most people in Skyrim wish they could have your modern life
"hey you, finally asleep.."
Feels like this has loops
Is it just the same 2 minutes on loop?
Great video to sleep to I just expected more than one song to play for the whole ten hours😒
I'm sure you can find an OST loop, however this is a consistency thing, like if you left the game on in a single spot for a long time.
Is this just secunda on repeat?
Y’all ever been to the cloud district?
When you wish to hear updates on s sequel of the game but all you see is ESO updates 😢😭💔❣️🖤
I used to be a sleeper like you, then I took an arrow in the knee...
I've never played Skyrim, for the longest time I thought the inappropriate kids people added were the entire game and that it was just a po*n game and nothing else 💀💀
LMAO
I had the same experience but with the entirety of Adult Swim
Adult swim introduced me to cowboy bebop and bleach rip adult swim
i never played skyrim myself neither, but my childhood best friend grinded the absolute piss out of it, so i would watch him sometimes
There's a nip in the air. Cold won't be good for my crops. Never is.
This is such a great sleeping aid for my pregnant wife. Thank you for uploading. ❤
Can't believe 11-11-11 was so long ago
No lollygaggin
Smitten!! Either u dont like it or the game is apart of you
Hope no one steals my sweet role while I sleep

IS IT JUST SECUDA
P r o m o S M 😍
I'm the dragonborn, venturing through Whiterun hold on my way to the 7,000 steps. I decide to make camp for the night in a little abandoned shack by the river. I light up the fireplace, and toss my bedroll down over the shack's old wooden bedframe. I listen to the critters of the night and the rain gently falling over my shack as I'm whisked away to the dreamlands of Vaermina.
comment stealer lmao
I used to be an adventure like you once, then I took an arrow to the knee
Meditation? Stop mastering the Thu’um and go to sleep
High pitched bug sounds :(
Skyrim always helps me going through heavy times in life. I broke up a year ago after my cancer diagnosis with the man i'm still madly in love with.
He has a new woman by his side and hates me for the person I am. I hope my death makes him happy again. At least I had the honor of getting to know the real him. I am sorry that I came into his life.
Why is there a demon in the thumbnail? I think I’ll pass.
Where? The helmet??
I listen to this most nights to sleep. Big bonus of this is in the morning I get to say “hey I’m finally awake”
😂
My brother got me the sound, so it literally is my alarm clock 😂
That’s amazing
i listening it to take soul comfort
This needs to be the pinned comment
Thanks, bro. It DEFINITELY hit the right spot. Gonna try to sleep with it now! (Will update my comment when I wake up!)
Update: I slept like a goddamn baby. Thinking I left the game on my inventory menu (I used to do that) So, thanks for that!!❤
Thats so wholesome lol thanks for telling me
