You are positively GLOWING in this video! Look at those happy, shiny eyes, that constant smile! You just look so happy to be alive and to be in Japan. I know exactly the feeling, of being so happy to just be on holiday and having nothing on my agenda but pleasurable activities to do in my own time with no stress whatsoever. Ahhhh...like going shopping in Donki and looking at almost literally EVERYTHING in the shop. My poor husband does NOT know this feeling of unbridled joy when going skincare shopping in Donki. Oh dear. LOL.
U should also recommend the hotel u stayed at!Sunroute Plaza is one of the most convenient hotels in Shinjuku!
Next time u can also go to the Kabukicho Don quijote but it is very very tight.I personally prefer the Shinjuku one.
Also with the eyedrops, if u wear contacts, make sure u get the one that is suitable for contacts.The pink one has 2 types.
the DHC oil cleanser is THE BOMB
You have to get the Mote Liquid eyeliner! It's by far the most waterproof/sweatproof liquid eyeliner that I've ever used! I'm from Malaysia and it's super humid here all day. And only this Mote liquid eyeliner could stand the heat! Try it !

The long keep base UV is a very popular primer and so is the brand primavista as a whole. You can also find a more affordable dupe by Cezanne.
The guy that was 'yelling at you', LOL, at 6:07 was holding The Holy Grail! Oh no, you missed his passionate entreaty to discover one of the best things in the store! So you know what that means? Yep. You need to return to Japan in 2021. You also missed the Fancl Cleansing Gel, which was discreetly sitting in front of you at eye level, waiting for it's turn to hop into your basket :D. Funny thing is that the Fancl Cleansing Gel seems to be discontinued in 2020. Which is a great shame. Next best thing is the Dr Ci Labo VC 100 Hot Peel Cleanser. Especially in winter.

I get the Lululun face masks from the Japan pavilion in Epcot all the time (I work at Disney so I spend a lot of time shopping there). I really like them.

The Shibuya location is much better! More spread out. The aisles at the Shinjuku one are so incredibly narrow.

I love Don Quijote! I went to like 5 locations when I was in Japan a few months ago.
Good stuff, but you did missed out on some jewels... my recommendation: the eye mask sheets in the red/gold packs by Kose, Opera‘s gloss lipsticks, Integrate’s cosmetics, Media’s foundation in a tub, Kose Sekkisei products (those blue packaging skin care which you said for acne prone skin, they do have different range and my favourite is the sun essence gel, better than Biore In my opinion). Check out their hair products too and nail essence (my favourite).
At 4.56, there are the best long lasting, long protection sunscreen brand called ALLIE. It is the best. You should try it Morgan

Hellokitty honestly I just save small cream containers (like the small eye cream tubs) and I clean them out when they’re empty and I scoop Vaseline into it so I have a travel size!! It’s better to buy the biggest Vaseline too so you can save more money that way too!

Hiii quick question, do you pay first and then get tax free. How does that work? Do they return it in cash?
Yes. They will return in cash. But if you want (preferably when you make purchases with credit card, or if the return money is quite big they will return it via the bank (kinda like a cashback))
You make purchase for minimum of 5000 yen in one bill, bring your passport, go to tax refund booth (usually there is one in a big mall or dept store) then they will seal your consumables item like make up, skincare, food, etc) then will give you the tax free bill with the cash.

Can you explain how the taxes free work?
these apply to foreigners only, you go to the tax free counter with your passport and if you've spent more than a certain amount (I think it's 5,000 yen in donki) they will give back 8% of the money back! which is about 400 yen? hope that helps 👍

Can I ask about the tax free , I never do it because they bag it up and I’m assuming your not suppose to open the bag till you get back to your country but sometimes I want to use the stuff while I’m still there
Technically you’re not supposed to open it, but I have and just put it back in the bag. But most of the time they don’t even check your purchases at the airport/customs. I just went to Japan and they didn’t even ask to see it. Tax free saves 10%, you should definitely do it next time!
@@vertigorapture Sorry but would you please explain the tax free system in Japan because I'm planning to go to Japan next month and I plan to do a fair bit of shopping there. In my country, everyone (including tourists) must pay taxes for goods so this idea is foreign to me. I would really appreciate your help!

Pet_tula Rhodes honestly I think it’ll be ok if you do that too! There’s a very small chance they will ask to see it at the airport and you can just tell them you already checked the goods in your bag.
kelly chow of course! Look for stores with a Tax Free sign at the register and they will either not charge tax or reimburse the 10% tax to you later if you spend over 5,000 yen/around $50.
