I live in Japan, so I love seeing these hauls!
Headed to Japan in November & made a shopping list with screenshots - THANK YOU! .. now at least I know what brands are good too & to look for the gold award sticker 👍🏻
I am Japanese woman and I recommend Fancl Cleaning Oil at 5:05. Its really good. Its preservative free.
Subscribed! Just discovered your channel, love it and binge watching now 😊
I'm going to Japan soon. Loved this video.
Just the video I needed!!! 🥰
🤗
Oh one of my favorite Japanese products for just juicy hydrated skin is called Kikumasamune Sake Hydrating Lotion Toner. It does have that slightly fermented sake/banana smell, but it dissipates really quickly, and it’s fantastic under makeup on oily and dry skin. Can’t wait till my Spring trip to pickup some of these goodies you found!
Did you say banana smell? 🤤 I already have a list of NEW things to buy for my next (non existent) trip 😜. Happy j-beauty shopping next Spring!
Very timely… I’m going to Japan in 2 weeks. Thanks for the video ❤️
👏
Thank you ❤for this video and for all the others, I’ve been watching your Japan 🇯🇵 videos 👀 with lots of care, because I’m going soon 🥳💕 for first time ☺️ so, you’re videos have helped me a lot in planning my days there, plus you have a great personality and taste and your videos are fun to watch. Thank you and greetings from Montreal 🇨🇦 🤗
Thank you so much for watching and I hope you have THE BEST first visit to Japan!!!
loved this video! also, i love your teeth, they're so straightttt
thanksssss! Invisalign, the nest $5K I spent years ago 😬
Loved your video! I subscribed hehe
I wish I had her skin she is literally glowing!!
Love haul. Things written down for my next trip,... BUT what eyeshadow are you wearing? (:
Glossier Monochromes in Clay :)
I found those Cyclear body milk at Tj Maxx.. saw the no. 1 I grabbed it. But it is $6.99 plus tax😌
Hi I could use your help finding a good drugstore product to cover gray hair roots - maybe a powder application?
There are many products available at the drugstores. None that I have used but a google search could help!
I love Japanese culture Lots of love from Pakistan❤
🫶🏼
What is your lipstick lipliner combo? I really like it! And your foundation is perfect what is it?
Lips: Cle de Peau Chocolate Cosmos Face: Haus Labs foundation
Where is your gold necklace from??? I’m obsessed!!❤
It’s from Amazon!
I love that Biore sunscreen but the markup is online is insane. They retail for more than double the price.
But it’s soooo good. And honestly sunscreen in the US isn’t even that cheap! So I’m happy to pay the markup for a formula I love
Hi! Where did you get the BCL AHA cleanser?
don Quixote!
YES! That Rosette balm cleanser you held up around 5:21 is EXCELLENT!! I bought two of those exact ones. The other startlingly great oil cleanser is the Muji original one. Holy smokes. Oil cleansers are NOT created equal. This one is one of the very best I've tried (and as someone who worked in the beauty industry for over a decade full time, dude, I've tried alot). I also have the AHA gentle scrub cleanser too, and the pink Speedy version of the Softymo cleanser is soooo much better than the original, you did well to buy that one too. Actually, I've bought the same things you bought on almost every trip to Japan ha! The best liquid eyeliner on planet Earth is the Japanese one called simply 'Love Liner', UNBELIEVABLY GOOD. I bought three last time, even though even one lasts forever, I'm not joking. They never seem to run out.
Loved this vid Eileen!! I sound like an airhead happily confession this but it's true: shopping in Japan is one of my favourite things to do. Flea markets, artisanal crafts and homewares, groceries, skincare, vintage clothing, avantgarde fashion...all of it, I love it. I always love to see what other people buy on their holidays abroad.
Yessssss! I bought so much on my last trip and think I have enough to last me until my next. I just started using the rosette balm cleanser, and WOW! It’s so good, that texture! I love your enthusiasm!
Thanks for sharing your haul :D I am afraid of glass bottles (like serums or toners) exploding during international flight. How did you pack the body mist bottle so it wouldn't explode? (It looks like a glass hard bottle, compared to the other squeeze-able products)
I had the issue with cosrx bottle exploding on a previous flight :( I don't remember if It was full to the top, or half empty with air.
I just packed them like normal! Didn’t even realize they could explode 🤯
hi! where in japan did you buy the kose setting spray from ?
I bought it from Matsumoto Kiyoshi store in Ikebukuro
@@eileensworld That's the one MatsuKiyo people need to hit if they aren't going to be in Japan long enough to go to loads of places. I'm fascinated by the absence of most big K Beauty brands from the Japanese retail market. You can get a handful of subpar Korean brands here and there. Even in Shin Okubo it's the same weird deal. I'm sure it's to do with political red tape, all about the economics of the market and all that complicated stuff. But it strikes me as unbelievably strange that K Beauty is impossible to find in Tokyo. The big brands you see all over TH-cam getting reviewed and talked about, the viral products, the runaway best selling products in Korean are NOWHERE to be found in Tokyo. Why doesn't anybody talk about this, I wonder?
Did you have any issues bringing back liquids/ creams into the USA?
No issues - shipped everything in my check in luggage
That cle de peau looks gorgeous on you
Thank you! I feel like it washes me out though 😫
........Do you mean Ramune (rah-moo-ney). Its a very popular brand of soda/carbonated drink in Japan, hence why the warning not to eat it lol.
Yes, Rah-mooooo-neyyyyyy
Tokyo Hands (the higher end variety store chain, now rebranded just 'Hands') sells a small niche fragrance brand called J-Scent. Inexpensive fragrances, with one in the range called 'Ramune'. It smells EXACTLY like a bottle of original Ramune. Highly recommend if you like freshies with a twist for summer time.
Did you buy from tax free shops? If so, how were you able to open it while in Japan?
Yes I did - the bag is sealed so I didn’t use it. There were some products that I wanted to use right away so I would purchase it with tax hehe
😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍
where would i go in japan to purchase these items…? you mentioned saison & don quixote, but what are the others…? i’m visiting tokyo, osaka & kyoto and i don’t know where to look.
It’s not very hard to find these items. Daiso, Donki, pharmacies are very easy to find all over Osaka and Kyoto!
@@eileensworldare the prices the exact same at each store? Did other stores besides Don Quixote do tax free purchases?
The prices will vary, but not my much. Most places have tax free. Make sure you have your passport on you!
@@gracedo1I’ve found that every time I visit Japan, the price is the same wherever you go. There are lots of chemist style shops that are on the street. Just go in and look around. They generally have a lot of items outside the shop too.
Did you tried any japanese niacinamide face serum
I have not. What’s the brand and product?
I am trying to find out any good niacinaminde face serums hence was asking you in case you could have helped me
$3 for a Shiseido hand cream? 😮
right! and $2 eyebrow pencil!
It’s a drug store brand of Shiseido which isn’t sold in department stores. It’s cheaper but the quality is good.
