    Very impressed with the Prime stream, love how they left the natural crowd and goal horn volume in unlike other broadcasts. The cherry on top would be to have Joe Bowen on for Prime Leafs games.

      @TheTaoZun the leafs were fast and forechecked all night. Our goalie was better than tampas. Our special teams were clicking and tampas was dry. I'm sure it will be a better game next time. Nick Paul turns into an all star when he comes to Toronto. He always scores.

      @commissioner1969 Technically, he didn't score tonight. It was a Benoit own goal. Never understood why the NHL credits players when they don't actually score. Soccer does it right.

    That eng being disallowed for a hand pass that wasn't actually a hand pass was rough, but Toronto looked great. Stolarz was a hell of a signing!

    Although the Holmberg non-goal at the end didn’t matter, it’s a bit concerning that you can’t challenge for a goal waived off for a hand pass.

      I don't know that they could challenge there. You can challenge for a missed stoppage, not sure he could challenge that one being waved off.

      Yeah. It's especially stupid because if it was a hand pass and the goal counted, it would've been reviewable.

    Nobody is talking about that 5 on 3 pk. Honestly the best penalty kill I've seen from the Leafs in a long time. Tanev is exactly what we needed a guy who can help stop the damn puck. Lets just hope he stays healthy.

      Tampa’s the best team they played just had a good night and Vasilevsky didn’t. Also the style of play the Leafs have had this year seemed to neutralize Tampa’s usually stellar offense, next game will be a war

    Leafs have yet to allow more than 2 goals in a game if you exclude the 2 empty netters against the rangers. Pretty impressive

    Toronto couldn't challenge the empty netter because the ref called it no goal, if he called it a goal, they could have looked at the replay.

    Woll will be relegated to backup. Stolartz is an exceptional goalie. very easily could have had a shutout.

      Woll SHOULD be relegated to backup. Who knows. If Woll plays well, who knows. At that point they should play an equal number of games.

    It's really too bad about the shaky officiating. The 5 on 3 was just bad, but the handpass miss sucked too. Just plain bad call.
    Still good win for the Leafs. This time up against a really good goalie they got the offense sorted out. They've played well throughout the season. If Woll plays tomorrow good luck to him.

      Normally I don't complain about the officiating because bad calls happen to every team, but tonight it was atrocious. Imagine it was a playoff game and the Leafs lost. There would be rioting in the city.

    Looked like he was about to go backhand/forehand for his own shot, but then turned it into a little push pass
    All in all, good work Leafs. It's not often Vasy gets pulled

    It was on center ice in the states so I switched back and forth with MNF. Though that game was a dog too. Nylander had a nice night.

    Not sure how Hedman and Chaffer got assists on that goal by Paul considering it was saved and Bennoit dragged it into the net himself.

      Since the NHL doesn't have "own goals" like soccer, it's because Nick Paul was the last Tampa Bay player to touch the puck before it went into the net and he got the puck via Chaffee and Hedman.

    Had some 'Where is Stamkos?' chants in the arena after that 2nd-3rd period power play ended. Didn't make it onto the broadcast too well, but tons of fun.

      At least we could hear the crowd on the broadcast for once. Finally made it seem like the there were living, breathing fans in Scotiabank Arena instead of the silent, morgue-like atmosphere we usually get. Whoever is mic'ing up the arena for TSN and Sportsnet needs to get canned.

      Cause those games are the Canadian broadcasts sub-licensed to Amazon through Rogers. We still have to use ESPN+ or NHL Network (if it’s a game they carry for that night) in the States

      It's canada only. Every Monday, a Canadian team will have their game on prime. Next week, it's Toronto vs. Winnipeg

      Forgot to mention. You could just use a VPN. It works with every other streaming service. I would assume it works with Prime, too.
