Actually, she was falling off, cause of the horse ''tripping'' or rotated or some shit - i think she would have stayed on if the horse jumped correct on that one.

It helps me concentrate especially if it's a scary jump! Plus I'm useless at seeing a stride 😂🤪

Cracking video. Rode every fence with you. There's nothing like the thrill of hunting if your on the right horse.
Thuis is the second hunt video i’ve watched so far and Im really surprised. I thought these kind of people just rode their horse anywhere and put them in many dangerous situations. But this seems well organized and safe for the horses. I like that you have the option to go past an obstacle the most.
Bloodhounding is so much more fun and organised. The jumps and route are always inspected before the date so you know you can just go and have fun. I would never put my horse in danger and always avoid jumps I don't like the look of 🤗🐎
i did my first hunt and loved it I'm definitely hooked I recorded it on my helmet can and I have edited it should I post it I'm debating it haha

OMG of course there's a photographer at the jump you're cussing over! lol. The pics make it clear why! lol. Goodness, I hate that feeling of being caught "behind." All you can do is not interfere. The pic is a textbook example of what that looks like.

romanyrivertolstoy aww Thanks! I like making them! Have you asked? Most do let you wear them. I got a new go pro for Christmas! I got the go pro hero session 5 :) it's smaller so no bouncing around making the clicking noises! Yay! X
yes, we do proper fox hunting and our hunt is very confidential about it so we're not allowed any cameras and such :( and aw that's so lucky! i've got the hero 4 but i've only had it a year so not quite ready for an upgrade yet haha! x

@Sean XJR It's only illegal to hunt with hounds (something a lot of sabs seem to forget!), we do nothing wrong and have nothing to hide, the only reason why I say 'confidential' and we're not allowed cameras is because we are often followed by sabs and obviously try to prevent this. This comment was over a year ago, we were allowed to wear gopros for this season however I now drag hunt instead so didn't have the chance. Thanks for the concern Sean but I am well aware of what the law surrounding fox hunting is :)
Also might I add that we often have the police follow our hunt as protection from the sabs, if we were hunting illegally I'm sure they would let us know :)
@Sean XJR yes, the sab that started hitting and pushing my horse when we stood in the way really needed protection! and the one who sprayed the horses with citronella! oh, lets not forget the one who flew drones around the horse's heads and scared them half to death! I won't waste my time trying to communicate with you. You can get as wound up as you want, protest as much as you want but at the end of the day the sabs are the ones who are bitter and sulking and the rider's are the ones who are enjoying their horses and the community. Enjoy obsessing over us Sean, and thanks for giving us a good laugh!

We more have coyote hunts than we do fox 😂 but I do believe there are drag hunts around.. not as common
Do you have to be out of the saddle when cantering??? Or can you stay in it?
For fast canter/ gallop you technically don't have to but it's alot more comfortable for you and the horse to be out of the saddle. Slow canter is fine to sit 😊

My horse used to hunt, jumped over cattle gates and probably much higher, too bad they dont really get him out hunting anymore

Actually yeah! We do hunt coyotes 😂 very rare to catch anything tho, smart critters. my hunts been going on for 25 years and has only caught two animals (a fox and coyote)
That’s what makes it fair, unlike armed hunting, it gives the animals a chance to get away, and keep the population in check (especially with the coyotes)

And some pepole have told me i cant ride horses becase im fat (ps not calling you fat but pepole have told me i cant ride horse just becase of my weight and they say things like poor horse imagne how the horse feels when you sit on him like wtf i can ride horse breeds that are bigger i dont have to ride a fricking 90cm pony like the hell )
That sucks! Luckily people don't say it to my face lol but when I used to ride my pony I felt I was too big even though he is a weight carrier and very stocky and can easily carry me. It's one of the reasons I stopped riding him as I thought people were judging me! I know I'm good riding Carrie so whatever people say I'm like 🖕 😂 I know what I'm too big to ride so 🤷♀️ take what people say with a pinch of salt 😊🐎

William Riley I agree, Fox hunting is barbaric, however it’s become illegal to fox hunt in most places in the uk, most commonly people drag hunt
(Not from the UK so it’s legal where I am, here’s my stance on why it’s not that bad):
Unlike being armed, using dogs and having to chace your query gives them a fair chance to take to ground and get to safety. With a gun it’s just hide, point, shoot (yes I know there’s a lot more skill needed than just that, but it’s not as fair)
Also the chance of actually catching a healthy, young animal is rare, therefore it’s culling out the old, sick, or injured just as nature does anyway.
