She is phenomenal, and give her ten more years and she could be recognized worldwide as one of the best of all time. Lovebites is a phenomenal band and on the rise, despite losing their bassist. But they will be back and Miyako will lead them to glory.
I agree, Miyako is a phenomenal talent. She nailed that; in "Edge of the World" she channels David Gilmour. Thanks for featuring this, not many people review clips like this. Check out her own youtube channel, she has a lot of fun stuff there including an unboxing and demo of her new signature Dean guitar.
Didn't expect you would come across this one! Nice surprise! 😄 Miyako is such a complete musician, not only her multi-instrumental skills, but she is also a phenomenal composer! Maybe take a look at her own YT channel, she has a few videos in English or translated! There was a video where she played it on piano as well! Thank you so much Spadaman! 🤘🙂🐺 They recently released a brand new Live video for the song Set the World on Fire - th-cam.com/video/99zsH6iG_6c/w-d-xo.html It's heavy!
Miyako.....big hearted, sweet, gorgeous and an absolute musical savage❤😎🤘 RIP Gary.........love his music & Thin Lizzy. P.S. You can hear a little Gary....in every solo she does.
Close your eyes and you would swear Gary was wailing on that ax. She does Gary proud with her playing and Moore solos she throws into a song. Self taught on the Dean when she was 18, and still keeps up with her classical piano training (been at it since age 3). Live her and Midori are so in sync despite being polar opposites that it is scary how great their harmonizing can be. Hey if you want a song done very little from this band I offer Signs of Deliverance LIVE (th-cam.com/video/o6oVfCzruHQ/w-d-xo.html) the harmonizing is so brutal yet insanely gripping you have to love it. This woman is a gift and she has band-mates who can play anything her brain comes up with and that makes her even happier to be in this band.
Yes, one of Miyako’s main influences is Gary Moore. By the way, Miyako and Midori played at USA NAMM 2020, not together but at different booths. Another Japanese rock band that played (a mini concert) at the same event was D_Drive, an excellent instrumental group; they are sponsored by Marshall amplification; Yuki is another excellent female guitarist.
I know everyone gives a lot of love to Miyako (I do too) but I also love Midori so I recommend a little of Midori for a reaction this is her at NAMM th-cam.com/video/PCExGZXA1hs/w-d-xo.html
I adore this performance. It is her paying homage to her hero with such respect.
I think Gary would be proud !
Miyaaakoo!!😍
She make that's guitar singing, screaming, and crying!!
and weep and sob.

Nobody plays like Gary Moore , Except Miyako🤘🤘
Miyako = The Golden Touch! 🎸🔥🤘

Miyako was also at NAMM 2018 and I did get to meet her then.
Gary left four children from three different women. I wonder if he ever visited Japan!
There is another song of Gary Moore : the loner but this time Miyako use piano!
For me Miyako is as good as Garry just looks much better

Love her too. She is also amazing. I will check it out and maybe react to it too.
