BALUT (Duck Embryo) only in the PHILPPINES.... SHE WAS NOT READY FOR THAT!!!

In this video my wife and i tasted one of the most controversial street food in the Philippines called BALUT. It is a fertilized bird egg (usually a duck) which is incubated for a period of 14 to 21 days, depending on the local culture, and then steamed. BIBALA on the next one

the white part is hard and very chewy, some filipinos just throw that away, but it is edible. the best part is the yellow (yolk) and of course the duck embryo =)
