How To Reupholster An Old Office Chair

  • I'm going to show you how to turn your junky old chair into a custom, one of a kind piece of furniture. I got this office chair a few months ago from a thrift store and now it's time for some up-scaling. I'm pretty thrifty so I picked up a yard and a half of clearance fabric to recover this turd and, with a little fiddling and some luck, this chair will have new life again.
I'm very much a beginner at upholstery so if I do something that I should have let me know, I'd love to improve.

It's too bad these chairs get junky after a few years! I wish the "leather" was stronger, or it was easier/cheaper to get them reupholstered. I see so many of these chairs left near the dumpster.
