    I have spent about 2 and 1/2 months in the Philippines and that wasn't even close to being long enough. Going back in 2 days I wish I could spend 1 year exploring all the islands. Such a beautiful and wonderful place and the girls don't look bad either, I took 1 home to the USA and changed her last name

    thank you so much for the video :) it is exactly what i was looking for cause im going to the phillis this july for about 19days!

    We are planning to do Cebu und Palawan :)

    • @KennyC
      @KennyC  6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      YES! Glad it helped you mate, there just seemed to be a lack of videos focusing on this time of the year!
      I can't say exactly, but our accomodation in total came to somewhere between £600 and £650 I reckon...but that's because Tao cost us £80 a day. Usually (except from the first place we stayed) we were paying about £23 a night on accomodation. I'd the say maybe throw on another £15/20 a day for food, drinks, and activities (on the days we weren't on the Tao boat).
      SO, if you add all that up it comes to just over £800! You can definitely do it cheaper (or go bigger), but I sadly didn't keep a note of how much I was spending each day and then made this video longer after the trip than I intended so can't be 100% sure sorry!

      do you have any other helpful tips to share? maybe about packing?

      glad i found you man :) cheers anyways!

    • @KennyC
      @KennyC  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Sorry I may be a bit late to reply to this! Mosquitos were absolutely fine, I didn't have any issues although it can be random as some people get bitten more than others. Something I have found really useful to have on my recent trips are these portable batteries, here is a link to the ones I buy - www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B01GJFNQYG/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o07_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
      They charge your phone up about 4 times as fast as normal and can recharge them fully from 0-100% about 4/5 times before you have to recharge the battery itself - super handy to have!
      I'm sure if you just pack your normal stuff though you'll be fine :) a lot of the stuff you'll realise you'll need (like reef shoes) you can buy out there. Enjoy!

    The tropical weather in the Philippines makes it ideal to plant many variety of fruits and vegetables. That's why in the Philippines, theres so many fruits to choose from in the market and it is so cheap because you can easily plant those in your home using pots even in the city. I love it so much! Rainy starts from June to November still hot when not raining. The last half of rainy season is usually stormy. Dry and cooler is Dec to end of February then super hot is March- End of May

    • @KennyC

      cheers mate! Obviously I can only go off my own experience, but there's more than enough to do in Palawan alone. i just thought it was good sticking to that one island because we weren't having to hop on a plane every 4 days to go to one of the other islands. We didn't get to swim with the whale sharks, or visit the Chocolate Hills (two of the things I would have loved to do), but the Philippines isn't going anywhere! Whatever you choose to do, I think you'd be crazy not to visit Palawan in one way or another, from what I've read it's the most famous island for the whole 'tropical paradise' kinda vibe.

    • @KennyC

      I think it'll be slightly better - looking at monthly breakdowns of the weather, June tends to be drier than July (when we went). So I think it'll be similar in a lot of ways but you should have more sun and less rain on the whole!

    • @KennyC
      @KennyC  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thank you! So I'd say out of the 14 days we were there, we had about 5 overcast days where we didn't see much of the sun (still very warm though). This doesn't mean it's raining 12 hours straight...it tended to come down in HUGE batches for about 20 minutes at a time, to the point it's actually quite exciting as it's an experience in itself.
      So long as you set yourself the expectation that it won't be clear blue skies and sun all day, everyday, then you'll be fine! Hope that helps
