Thank you very much for this video series!! Huge service for newbie hobbyists as myself who are doing it for fun and education.

Excellent video and series -- a long while back I built a Mini-Aleph (~15wpc), and loved it. It got lost in a move... and haven't done diy audio for a while, but want to get back to it and an Aleph J is on the list. So thanks a million for this excellent series. Much appreciated!

Nice timing. I had built the F6 a few years ago and decided to try the Aleph J. Parts are ordered and grateful you've shared this as I imagine it will be helpful. Thank you.

Looks like a Hi-Fi 2000 case from Italy. Do you know which one it is?

How good is DIY FirstWatt amp compared to the one sold at a shop in sound quality ?

One question please: the procedure is for 120V input or 240V? (may be it's the same....)

As stated I'm in the UK so 240v not quite the
same . The 120v has the SL60 in series with the 'live' incoming supply. Please take a look at the First Watt PSU for specific requirements.

Your drawing made zero sense as to why you would take the secondary and short the center tap to one side. If you use 4 rectifiers and put one side of each secondary to one rectifier you will have one supply for each channel or double them up so you use both transformers for both amps. You need 4 rectifiers to do it either way

I kinda noticed that too, wouldn't that be a short to the transformer ? Why not just buy 1 transformer and use the NelsonPass Kiss method ? Simple ! & I don't think it's a good idea to stack transformers like this ontop of each other..( could be wrong about that tho )

I use the two transformers as that's what I had on the shelf.
