Is ain't even a word you folks up there in the great white north say? You said "We joke about farmin' ain't bein' easy" and it ain't been easy to figure out if you guys even use the word ain't. Your videos are very well done and look amazing. Great content aint bein easy.
They sure do, are you putting sweet clover in a hay blend or is it a straight clover crop? We've used Berseem clover around here in the past with good results, even as a cover crop.
@@farminainteasy we use it both ways. I like the sweet clover as a short term hay crop on my grain fields. Got a huge tap root that busts up compaction, fixes a lot of nitrogen, and scavenges phosphorus from the soil, but doesn’t use it, leaves it behind for subsequent crops. One of the only plants in commercial production that does that. Gives a quick break in a grain rotation, but when we underseed pastures and alfalfa hay we will mix in a bit (couple pounds) to help bulk up the yield in the first year. It doesn’t cause bloat, so we have rotationally grazed yearlings on it before as well.
I been toying wth a mix variant (all natural haylage and titicale mix) and doing a finish silage before shipping. So what kind of cost for the twin mix machine?
They sure are quite the machine for handling multiple Crop and blending scenarios. Give Noble Equipment a call for a price, they are configurable in many ways with lots of options available such as brakes/suspension and feed chutes.
I'm sorry to disappoint you, but a verticle is incapable of doing a real TMR ration. Rip up bales yes, but TMR no. The more screws the poorer they do. Your not really doing a TMR for those cows.
I love the drone shots!!!! Shows the overall vast farm….. you mixer wagon we always call a bale buster..anyway those are great…. Stay safe…stay warm…
Glad you enjoyed the video! Thank you for watching, and have a great day!

Haha it's not proper Grammer that's for sure. My English teachers from school are probably shaking thier heads at me....
9.4k views in 3 days. Good job! I knew it would do well for sure. I attempted something like it, but no drone or production value.
Thank you for the kind words, and thank you for watching!
The cows sure get preferences. Our cows leave our oat greenfeed for our sweet clover hay bales every day when we roll them out.

That's fantastic. Too bad not all farmland is fenced with a water supply. If it were, I'm sure we would see a lot more cover cropping.

A vertical is absolutely capable of doing a tmr. What are you talking about ?
