    • @betsyj59
      @betsyj59 ปีที่แล้ว +71

Yeah. It's just incredible. This whole "you're in the wrong body" thing is incredibly retrograde. When I was a young teenager in the early 70s, I wore my dad's shirts to school, jeans and was always on the lookout for the perfect big, heavy boots. I also always had crushes on boys and never thought I was a boy. I wanted to be LIKE a boy, though - swearing, avoiding the cruel girl games that went on in elementary school and junior high, etc. I liked the boys' jokes. Mostly I just couldn't stand the soap opera stuff that seemed to go on in the girls groups in 6th grade and junior high. It's a tough age because the media and advertising starts pushing retrograde stereotypes of femininity on young girls at a time when your body is changing you start gaining unwanted attention in an objectifying way. Lots and lots of girls don't like like the sudden sexualization when adolescence descends but they don't think they're boys. These days all of us would have probably been talked to in school about possibly being in the wrong body. Adults are preying on young people with this transgender social engineering (using male and female gender stereotypes) for their own agendas and its horrifying.

@bjo59 💯 the early 2000s were the same. I was wearing band shirts and ripped denim, sporting doc's and chains. Huge punk/goth vibes around that time and tomboy girls were often seen as attractive punks. some regret it because they realise they were actually homosexual or lesbian and mislead by genderr stereotypes
some get trapped in a cycle of transition and detransition because they are never happy
the fix was only for dysphoria, alot of people going through it now do not have gender dysphoria, just confusion over what they are caused by very bad ideologies and the conflation of stereotypes and identity with gender. classic trans people in positions of education know point blank you cant change gender but you can change your body to make youself feel more comfortable but the stuff thats being put forward now is very different.
some do speak up but the ones that dont make the media like this individual are silenced and kicked from the lgbt, they call them traitors basically or atleast make them feel that way.
homosexuals and lesbians inside the community have spoken up about it and made lgb alliance and gays against groomers and also get the l out, unfortunately to question is to hate and we have been silenced, the homosexual and lesbian activists are either completely silent or backing unquestioningly non binary ism which is terrible and just adding the sexuality framework to gender but ultimately destroying sexuality in the process

Yes I questioned myself but I told myself it’s nonsense and until today I feel happy for who I am. As a biological women. I’m so happy I never sought affirmation, because I was very chronically online. I was also a tomboy with hair to my waist, but now that I’ve cut it off, I feel like I’ve become less of a tomboy. They have no idea to the large part what it means, in all fields, neurology is a big one they are unbelievably arrogant and cruel. They would rather leave people to suffer than try a treatment and maybe it not go right and risk backlash. They know they can sit there and say no and still get paid, for decades. This is in my opinion where the issue is that they still get paid for appointments where they refuse to help. They get paid for having many people on their books that they aren’t helping. I was left to suffer for 17 years they never tried medication just kept doing lumbar punctures for 2 years then sent me away as “cured” even tho I wasn’t when I ended up back in ER still in the same state I was before they denied I had the condition or ever had… at that point I realised no one was gonna help me but me. Fought for several more years seeing 12 neurologists including a private one then 5 neurosurgeons until I got surgery, even then that first one was done extremely badly, but of course he still gets paid to mess up and never see me again for 2 years until I paid to see him privately. Changed surgeon again finally got the best possible surgeon who’s amazing he still manages my case because he knows I have no one else to turn to. He gave me my life back at 35 ish so still trying to re start as best I can. Am I mad that I lost 30 years to nhs and doctors? Absolutely. But complaining does nothing. So I do all I can to help others via support groups. If I can save one person from what I went through I have achieved something wonderful. I hope people speaking out about this gender surgery issue helps prevent others from starting the process and harming them selves irreparably.

When someone claims to be "trans" they're saying their body does not match their mind. Ok, fine, let's think that through. That means one or the other, their mind or body, is broken. Their claim is that their body needs treatment (drugs and surgery) to be brought into alignment with their mind. But we can clearly see that their body is healthy and functioning normally (before they damage it with drugs & surgeries). So maybe the real problem lies in their mind. Maybe that's what's actually broken and in need of repair.

I’m 71 and when I was a young girl I loved to play sports, I was very competitive, beat most all the boys, tagged my brothers around bc they did all the fun things. Never would it have ever occurred to me, my parents or anyone else that I was anything other than what we called a “tomboy”, which is nothing more than a girl who likes sports and competition. I feel so bad for this person. You can see and hear the desperation in his voice. The doctors betrayed him and now he is left alone with all those issues that he wouldnt have without those surgeries. If I had a friend who struggles with this and wants a surgery I'd say to him or her that you should accept yourself as you are. Ppl can dress up they way they want use makeup or whatever. What you can't do is overwrite reality and biology. If you are born as a female or a male you are that physically. It doesnt matter if you feel or think you are not that. Chopping off and removing body parts wont magically change your dna you will be who you were but with a damaged body. Many ppl strugle with phsycial health issues. Then you ruin your healthy body for no reason. If you undergo a surgery like this no one around you will think you are suddenly the opposite gender. No one will think yes you are a woman or a man now. Most ppl will be polite but you will still have the "trans" there before whatever gender to wish to switch to.
Try to come to terms with the fact that biologically you are this or that. Don't try to change it because you can't. The doctors pushing you towards surgery doing it for the money. They make a fortune on these surgeries where they mutilate healthy bodies. Surgeries should be there for ppl with physical health issues. Something in your mind is not physical. You need therapy for that not surgery. It makes me sad when I see interviews like this because there should have been some friends around these people or family who told them the truth before they made this mistake. And many times there are friends and family around them but they dont want to listen. The watch the idiotic videos on social media with ppl who act carefree and happy when after 30 sec of recording a video they stop to cry when reality hits them. This is such a huge issue that ppl faking happiness and other think they can have that too but it's all a lie.
Happiness starts with acceptance. We all have problems and issues with ourselves. Maybe you are too short or too tall or you have crossed eyes or whatever. You have to accept yourself as who you are because doesnt matter what others think you are the only person who has to live with you 24/7. Chopping off parts of your body does only change your healthy body into a mutilated one. You yourself inside will be the very same person before and after the surgery. I could put green paint all over my body that wont change me into a martian even if I'd look different with green skin.
Please instead of surgeries try to accept yourself. Dress up the way you want who cares but don't ruin your physical body and health.
I don't know you I will never make a profit out of this advice and I have no reason to be nice or cruel to you. As a human being to a human being I tell you the hard truth. These surgeries wont help you but ruin you and they are permanent. Once you go through with it you can't go back and I bet that 9 out of 10 times ppl go too far down this road they can't turn back even if they would want to because they feel like everyone will judge them and call them stupid. You are not stupid. You struggle with this and you want a resolution and happiness just like everyone else. Surgeries wont give you that. Accept yourself accept your body. Life is hard in itself don't make it harder for you by turning your healthy body into a damaged one.

Worked for a private company & for Asplundh. I loved it!). I've always enjoyed the outdoors & nature. Never questioned my gender & I had many men tell me they wouldn't do what I was doing when I did the tree work. I also broke a lot of power lifting state records without doing any training, because of the full body workout I got on a daily basis from the tree work. I only went to 2 meets just out of curiosity. It was fun & an interesting experience. But through all of that, I thoroughly enjoyed being a female, dressing nice & going out dancing, weekend trail rides & I must admit that it was men that I was interested in as far as relationships. I also learned that the great looking men & a lot of them with great physiques, weren't worth knowing. I guess it's the same with beautiful women. They're shallow. I think I'm getting off track! Lol.

The entire trans madness is based on personality. My Mom is more aggressive than my laid back Swedish Dad, my brother doesn't like competition much , he is sort of shy, my little sister was involved in every sport in high school and college, I could over hand pitch a baseball . Trans would want my entire family to trans. Trans at the core is VERY sexist and based on stereotypes. Lives are in ruins because of trans! Thank you for this interview , much needed!

There’s a ton of people saying this for any surgery and only 1% of people that transition regret it. It’s impossible to please everyone and there’s always a risk in any medical procedure including the ones that cis gendered people do

    • @echo.1209

Maybe actually listen to the majority trans people speaking for themselves and stop listening to the media that handpick the people who were mistreated by the medical system and then claim its a widespread issue. The vast majority of people who transition do not regret it and are happier because of it.

    on the other hand.....
I am a gay man, and very early in my life I realized that I liked boys. I grew up in a very small town in the days before 'trans' was a thing. I remember coming home from school and watching an afternoon talk show whose guest that day was Christine Jorgensen. I immediately assumed that I was born in the wrong body. many years later, I am a gay man and happy to be a man but I still think about all of those years when I thought I was a girl... that afternoon started years of mis-self-identification.... I can only imagine what it is like for adolescents today who may have spoken those thoughts out loud and been forced onto the hormone path

I suspect you are feeling incredible relief to have been born before this insanity took hold. My case is different i.e. a fully hetero female ( a few weeks short of being 70 ) who has never liked being a woman, neither the biology nor the social status (or lack of it) or expectations - but 'born in the wrong body', no, that was never a concept when I was young and for that I'm immensely grateful because as I got older I realised many men actually really like women whose interests are outside of the traditional feminine sphere.

    • @teijaflink2226

I feel many seem to be uncomfortable with or even hate their own gender because of societies expectations, a woman can't be a tomboy and like so called male things, a man can't be feminine and gay. I just wish specially young people could accept their bodies like they are, just because you feel certain way inside doesn't mean that you have to chance your body or that it will make you happier. And to save them from lots of grief, painfull surgeries and medication for life. Sure in very rare cases a transition might be the best and right option. But most wont need it even if they feel like they are more like the opposite gender.
