- A redesigned 1 Series and an all-new 2 Series Gran Coupe are soon to be unveiled by the German premium manufacturer. Both subcompacts have different internal codenames but bypass the Impulse Life Cycle altogether to go directly to the next generation. Specifications for the upcoming generation of the BMW 1 Series have leaked, and rumors suggest that it will be bigger and make its debut this year. The Series 1 F70 may already have had all of its technical specifications announced, even though its official release date is still quite a ways off. It appears that the much-loved compact automobile will get a major boost in 2025 from the BMW 1 Series F70. It will look and work better than before thanks to its cutting-edge technologies. Anyone looking for a high-end compact automobile should keep an eye on this one. With a more subdued front bumper and softer headlights, BMW has been thinking about an evolutionary design for the new 1-Series for about a year. The second one has a more subtle rear end compared to the third, which hides its exhaust tip behind a vertical air curtain and a pillar at the bottom intake-probably holding the sensor pod. A semi-rounded bumper and temporary taillights reminiscent of a trendy wraparound style are also included in the prototype. We expect the new M135i to feature a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine that generates around 302 horsepower (225 kW / 306 PS) and 332 lb-ft (450 Nm) of torque. Having said that, BMW has been mum on the specific engine options for the 1-Series. Production started in July, and we expect to have the product in hand in the late spring or early summer of 2024. The starting price for the entry-level 118i M Sport is around $54,800 (not including o/t), while the price for the top-tier M135i xDrive is around $76,700 (not including o/t).

Cute Render, but that's just not a BMW design. Even the kidney grille is wrong. It just doesn't look like a modern BMW. The design is way too rounded, the single elements not balanced, which unfortunately doesn't make it very attractive.
