    I think it's the first time I saw someone made a typology without even modeling the character, make me want to try but my instinct tell me that I will obviously failled haha.

    For people that ask how he is doing it, for what I have tried it seems to be a combination of extruding vertices, merging them and then finally making a new face from the vertices. Shortcuts in order are: e,m and f

      There’s a missing step: how to outline those vertices using those dots at the start. Is a knife tool being used or something else?

      Look up "poly modeling face tutorial blender". The method is called poly modeling, can be used to make both the anime style face and the realistic style face. Keeps the poly count low, better edge flow, quick work flow

    • @bafi29
      @bafi29 3 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      The simplest way to animate the face in low poly models is having in the texture the rest of expressions you are going to use, and change the UV map to the one you want in a single frame.
      The other way is modeling the rest of the face properly and then doing the usual face rig.

    So, i'm curious. If u use this system of keeping the limbs "disconected" from the body, like independent objects, would still posing be possible in the normal way? (keeping the whole body as a object, keeping the limbs connected to the geometry is what i mean). How do you set up the vertices on their own to make the outline of the shapes, I'm still struggling to figure that one out 😅😅 also great vid!! ~

      I usually just duplicate a vertex from somewhere else on the mesh or merge a quad into a single vert and extrude from there
