Vehicular damage adds a lot to the total, i wonder if stealing the rare luxury cars and destroying them would be a easier way or if only traffic accidents count?
@@henriquesalvatti544 Yeah that went through my head, I did at some point switch over to just any convertibles that I could find because they cost more but unsure if the game has a value system tied to every vehicle or if its just a base dollar to damage ratio
@@SwitchbladeOnVHS For the sake of the question I did some testing. Took a long time but I found out normal cars are about $500 when destroyed and rarer/luxury cars are $1,000. It gets weird, though, because for the secret cars their values are all over the place. Testing with the Phantom and Duesenberg the cost was about $5,000 per car destroyed on average, fluctuating between 5 all the way up to 6.5k. That's either due to the errors in how I tested this, or the game changes the cost in the fines depending on the type of crash and how many crashes you experience before totaling the car.
@@Ovahlls That is amazing work! Glad to hear there are some mechanics around car value, I guess if I go back and try for the 1mil I might change things up a bit although I could probably wreck 2 cheap cars in the time it takes to find a more expensive one but it's definitely interesting
I never played L.A. Noir, but the detail that your Partner using a Police car for a Lift just shows that this is one of these Rockstar Games, that WANTS you to feel like the Main Character, you made me sold to the game

@@Muffincakeswithsugar 😂😂
roy using those cops like a taxi is so funny
@@tay4467 Roy racked up more costs than I did and he just took a taxi 😅
