A-29 tucano has been tested against FARC in Colombia and terrorists in Afghanistan... Here in Brazil we mostly use them for counter-narcotics and border patrol in the Amazon. From 10 upto 3 all of them are actually trainer aircraft and light ground support role as secondary role. They were never designed to be a light combat multirole aircraft.
I dont know what parameters they have considered to put korean jets above hal tejas.hal tejas is far superior than korean jet in terms of weapons,composite materials,radars,flight refueling,hot air refueling etc as its a complete multirole jet.

Korea Air Force had no plans to upgrade the TA-50. However, many countries are demanding the BVR capability of the TA-50, so it is known that they will accept it.

From 10 upto 3 all of them are actually trainer aircraft and light ground support role as secondary role. They were never designed to be a light combat multirole aircraft.

The FA-50 (light multirole fighter) variant of the T-50/TA-50 family can already be armed with the AIM-120 AMRAAM. Though the website of KAI hasn't updated their information there. The Philippine FA-50's are just currently equipped with the AIM-9 Sidewinders due to budget restraints as always.
