I think everyone wishes this redesign still had a V8 under the hood. Looks like everyone has fallen for Ford’s hp and numbers game and downsized their largest SUVs power plants to 6 cylinders but I don’t think *gm* is going for that. Even the base Escalade has come standard with their 6.2L V8 for years.
@@rtcturnemup7028 Chinese market doesn’t care about V8s. *gm* had a full-size Chevrolet pickup truck powered by a 4-cylinder here in the U.S. as well, but they’re not putting that in a Yukon or Escalade. _That’s_ the difference.
Beautiful review! Love your vids, I’m planning on buying my first car but have no idea what I want. I’d love saving up for corvette ( dream car) or invest in an electric vehicle. Which one would be better, considering an affordable price?
Government regulations regardless, VR engine is a solid platform. Nissan/Infiniti play with heavy vehicles on the VR platform anyways. But I wish they would slap that 3.5DDTT on their new sedan!

The gm full size trucks in China are powered by 4 cylinders so it won’t be long tbh 😅

One of the full sized SUVs to drop their V8 in favor of a twin turbo six.
