I built a 455 a couple years ago. Did a mild port job and it didn’t com with a muffler so I built a ironhorse style pipe and it runs and sounds awesome. Pipes work! Keep up the good work!
Nver cared how a saw sounded. It was the RUNNING I was after. My 1st was a C-5 and it was a straight shot from the piston and I still can't hear. BLESSINGS!
My muffler on my 455 did not have a baffle in it like the earlier version did but I did take it apart and took my Dremel tool and opened up the exhaust to match the opening where the screen fits in. Great medium duty saw IMO.
@@NothingButChainsaws got that newer wild thing I wanna port, it's my first strato saw, good thing it's cheap and cheesy so not to worried if I mess it up.. Lol
I got pretty anxious when you started that screw with the impact but you made it work lol

Popular saw. The carb sure looks a log like the two barrel Poulan’s.
Husqvarna owns poulan or maybe it’s the other way around. One of the two
@@donhunter5.56 yes they do I didn’t realize the strato 2barrel stuff from Husky would be that similar to their Poulan Line.

460 rancher çalışırken egzozdan siyah sıvı geliyor normal mi sizce
Did you put moto seal on the bottom side of the clamshell before putting the top back on?
No, it has rubber seals.
I personally find that the gasket left over on the inside has a tendency to get sucked off the wall and ends up plugging the spark screen
It is a good idea if you are tearing down a 455/460 is to buy a 440 fuel line set and get rid of the factory lines
Thanks for the tip!
Sweet!!!!
I broke a ball end in a cylinder bolt.. What a pain... Learned a valuable lesson.. Lol, do you just leave the strato ports alone?
Yes cause I think they are plenty big!

Air *velocity* is key, not only smooth flow.
Is that your smoke detector or mine?
Lol
i did the same thing to my 455 muffler its a little louder and maybe runs a tiny bit better
