    -sense down to the end of the rope. It should be a straight line, knuckle to tip. Rope follows your hands.
    -learn to separate your awareness so that your feet can work independently of your hands.
    -in the beginning, you'll make THOUSANDS of mistakes. Keep going.
    -practice, practice, practice.
    -breathe through your nose. Always.
    -create solid patterns.
    -break those patterns.
    -have fun.

    At my Muay Thai gym we only use the classic heavy (painful when you hit your toes) jumpropes. Ive learnt the basics with these but they are tough on the forearms and seem hard to do the criss-cross with. Thinking of getting my own jumprope to level up a little easier.

    Shifu Chez, I've been suffering from muscle imbalances(right shoulder is lower and shorter than the left side) for a while, i think its from my habit of sitting and walking with a really bad posture. It makes me less confident. What do you think i should do, master? Will it go away on its own as i tone my muscle with shadow boxing and bodyweight exercises? anyway i appreciate your channel. Big love

    • @CHEZCANTERE
      @CHEZCANTERE  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It can but it’ll take time. I would suggest to do more pulling exercises. Towel bodyweight rows and pull-ups. Throwing more punches will add more fatigue to your front muscles(shoulders and chest) thus pulling you more forward. Doing the pulling exercises will help the back muscles to pull your shoulders back
