I bought this monitor on a whim. I agree with your pros and cons. The one thing I found that really helped was turning off Local DImming for SDR. I run it on the SRGB preset after turning local dimming off. For some reason it just really helped improve my contrast. Absolutely beautiful and a great deal at around 300, I was able to snag it at around the same place.
I managed to grab the higher specced version of this one for only $400 USD. (27m2v.) Its the one with a higher refreshrate and more local dimming zones. Both are such excellent deals, especially with all the spontaneous sales that happen. Colors are also something that I found were shockingly good. Everything from editing photos and videos to even watching HDR videos is just amazing.
I personally like Mini-LED (with enough dimming zones of 1000 or more) over OLED but I'm blind as a bat so I need the screen to be as bright as possible in regular everyday SDR content, the 1000 nits in HDR is good thing but I swear I need around 500 nits just to see the monitor in clear room daylight. (I have a eye issue where everything is darker than normal) So I saw this was on sale and I just ordered it!! Thanks for the review!
I got their 32M2V monitor. It has hdmi2.1 , HDR1000, 1152 dimming zones at a great price… waiting for their version of flat panel QD Oled hopefully at a great price too
Recently bought this monitor after watching your review. Could you please share monitor settings or icc profile as I'm not able to get colors right on this monitor. Thanks!
Great Review! Do the LEDs work on the back of yours? Mine don't. I can't find any drivers either. I picked it up for $250 w/ the check box $50 off. Other things I noticed: 1. No brightness control in HDR. 2. OSD doesn't support portrait mode. 3. PIP/PBP/ PBP(Phone) is pretty handy.

My ni
60hz…. Not at all for any type of gaming
Most games on the ps5 or Xbox don’t run at 120hz. 60 is still good for story games.
Considering that this is a 4k monitor, 144fps is very hard to reach.
👎 shit monitor.
Can you elaborate?
