Just ordered 2 of the hitec D845wp servos, 1 for throttle and 1 for steering, using them on losi 5ivet 2.0, I didn't fully understand what they meant when they said they were programmable. My question is do you think it is necessary I order this programmer to assist in fine tuning etc? Or would the default settings suffice. Thankyou for video.
The default settings for the servos will suffice however if you need to reverse the servos to match direction of steering like I discovered, the programmer allows you to do so. Also centering of servo arm is possible and necessary to have equal steering throws.
Be careful, on both servos you did not actually set the center...you missed a button push. You need to press the jog dial once before hitting back. You can see in the video the center point goes back to the factory 8088.
This exactly what I was looking for. An instructional video for the programmer.
Its funny everyone uses this video as a reference and not one comment, so thank you kind Sir for sharing your knowledge
Thank you, you're welcome...
