Holy S***.. what a course. Eagles Crossing Disc Golf - The full on disc golf experience. It's not 100% done or ready yet, but it's already possibly the best and most fun course I've ever seen. Three tee pads per hole, two basket positions and some of the most exciting holes ever seen. Great job everyone involved. I can't wait to be back soon!

Philip Samuels is an absolute legend, the man ***doesn't even play disc golf*** and puts this property to the shovel to make the best course. (Ever?) It would be awesome to see this place used in worlds in 2023!!

Place looks absolutely insane, love the subtitle shot "it's not a golf course, it's a disc golf course." This man is a true legend.
I literally started salivating after hole 4 when they threw hole 5 into the gulley. The open and then wooded, the water, the islands, the elevation, what a fun looking course! Will definitely have to get out to play it someday, along with Maple Hill.
Ya, that's all nice and good, but is there a booze-cart girl driving around on the course selling beer and stuff? I've got my standards.

Sounds like the GK boys have missed the occasional shot he's ripped while hosting. lol
Also, that tiered basket is wild. That’s a lot of stone!
Impressive structure for sure, but I'm not sure that's what a disc golf green should be about. Little lower with wider tiers would be more practical I think. Overall this course looks incredible.

Im so jealous, my dog is absolutely fantastic and well-trained but when the discs are flying, the bitch goes after them like crazy. With any other object she will sit still if ordered but I can never take her to disc golf course

For the people in the chat who have not played this course, you’ll need your big boy pants.
It’s about 50 minutes from harmony bends, and 20 minutes from New Melle DGC. I recommend making a weekend trip out of it. They have tee pads for all level just with added distance

Two top ten courses within under an hour of each other. Can't wait to get out there!
GPS says 74 mins from Columbia and 40 mins from new melle.

Watching Ezra and Uli's vlogs from DGLO, I think Simon might do some re-takes, because he seemed to try to re-offer the same commentary for other peoples' second putts in case they made it.

@@kaseyebbesmeyer4049 as the head greens keeper there I can tell you it is far from done. So much grass work and tee pads need to be finished. your boyfriend ( forgot his name) and the other guy have been putting in tireless hours out there. He has done amazing work and he really is a nice guy.

Such a gorgeous course, and the best part is when he announced to the guy he would rate it when they were done. I literally said to myself "The only issue I could see Simon having with the course is the baskets." Still the course is just gorgeous and such an amazing thing to do from a guy who has never played disc golf.
Luke is a beast on the skins commentary. Makes them so enjoyable to watch.
It's crazy, because he's so fun on skins but sooooo dry during standard GK Pro commentary

Simon I love your form now. It looks so smooth and perfect. I have now slowed down mine as well and it gave me about an extra 100ft of distance.
There are so many great courses in Missouri. St. Louis has tons. All different styles of play. Hoping more big pros sign up for the STL open in Sept.

Simon has the best vlog in disc golf. Eagle's is really close, McBeth makes great content too, but Simon's is special.
Vinny is a great guest, best in 2021. I've enjoyed the way all the pros have worked together with content to grow the sport.
Consistent content is key.
Foundation DG and so many other channels you can look forward to consistent content for. Brodie Smith. Say what you want, but he consistently produces content, learns the game as he helps grow it, great content maker and becoming a contender at the highest level in crazy time.
I have enjoyed Jomez Pro practice round and shot recreation stuff. The 3 person booth is awesome so far, let's see how it plays out...
Gateway and GK Pro have produced awesome coverage and content all year too. Sarah has done a great job on FPO! KJ has made awesome stuff this year as have so many other pros out there.
DGN and DGPT have proved both formats of live and post-production coverage are necessary! Live coverage is evolving and is amazing already!
So much great content for disc golf right now.
I totally agree with everything you say here. Lots of "minor league" vlogs out there as well doing great stuff, like Robbie C, Discn A Round, Swanky, etc....
I'm much more disc than balls content-wise :D I started recording during COVID as a way to show my brother and friend in other states some of the local courses, and just kinda kept running with it, lol.

This is absolutely what disc golf needed, this course is what should be played and put onto ESPN. No other course has made me go "wow that is an amazing hole" on every hole
That man, an absolute legend, doesn't even play disc golf, uses his property, his money, his time to make the best course ever.

Was so happy to be able to play this course a couple times two months ago. Such an amazing experience! And even from this video I can see improvements that have been made since the last time I was there. The owner's are the nicest couple and the property is something truly special!
All these great courses out there and they play on ball golf courses.

After only seeing pictures, this is looking pretty incredible on video. Love the artistic sculptures and accents here. Disc golf is evolving. New possibilities of course design are wide open and this course is inspiring in its scope.

This will set a new standard against which we can measure all other courses.
Just as an FYI: in 2020 there were 3.5 disc golf courses installed around the world every single day.
Almost 1,300 courses for the year. And that was a badly Covid-affected year.
I'm predicting more than 1,500 new DGCs installed in 2021, and in 2024 for the very first time, the number of DGCs in the USA will exceed the number of ball golf courses.
And considering how much more kind disc golf courses are to the natural environment...it's a much more forward looking plan!

HUGE fan of Dave McCormick, one of the best designers of our time. The thought of him being enabled to build the dream course by someone like Philip that had the vision and the means to make this happen for our sport. Stoked! I spent 5 years as a member of STL disc golf, couldn’t be happier to see this happening.

I just played this course (9/5/2022) and I’m speechless. It is a slice of disc golf heaven. I don’t even know where to begin. All I can say is make the trip there if you can. The course also looks way better now than this video last year

Shot of the Day - just played that course for the first time last week! It was incredible. Heritage Trails in Slinger, WI. I took a four on that hole - sweet ace!
I'm playing a tourney there this Saturday. I use a tilt on that hole because it's the same distance every time.

I can absolutely say it's probably the best course out there. It's probably like my 4th or 5th favorite to play, but it checks every single box for what the "World's Best DG Course" should be.

So this is the first disc golf course to legitimately push disc golfers and look like a golf course. The features , the pads and the general ambiance is amazing. Hell the players may even need to step up to this course. This is the future of disc golf if it goes main stream.
Love that you mention Järva in Sweden, its amazing. But it is now getting destroyed by Stockholm city, they have started to build a burial ground there, despite everyone love that place... You are lucky to have been there before this.

Played there about 2 weeks ago and it really is no joke, one of the coolest courses I have ever been to/played on.
