    👍🏻 Not bad for a 20+ year old bike.
    I have a 99 yzf600rx THUNDERCAT and will never part with it because it was my best mates bike, My first bike and the first bike i fell off lmao
    But seriuosly my Yammy goes to about 260kph which tells me its had gears done or something 🤔

    If you up the teeth on the rear I think you'd be able to go a little faster than that buddy. It looks like you changed the gearing. I noticed it right when he hit six gear and the RPMs dropped and didn't drive up to peak anymore. If you up to tooth and a little more I think you would get a little more speed and higher RPM in 6th gear

    I mean is 100hp not enough? I can see why so many squids die, I think this is fast enough

    I dont get this dashboard, why are the numbers so low? 100 is where 60 should be on a normal dash...

    • @kalaharimine
      @kalaharimine 3 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      @@bluecat9906 because my stock Thundercat will pull 120km/h at 6000rpm, 220km/h will be 11000rpm, 240km/h will be 12000rpm and a magazine tested top speed (not me) of 265km/h at 13250rpm. The bike in the video probably has a smaller back sprocket and has been overgeared, it's not achieving peak power revs.

    What’s the reading under the odometer

    • @evanmorrow3333
      @evanmorrow3333 6 ปีที่แล้ว +11

      It is tenths of a kilometer....He got it up to 240 kph or 149 mph..........every second that ticks by means he's travelled approximately 220 feet. In only 12 seconds he'd be 1/2 mile down the road............after 1 minute he would be 2.5 miles from ya............just 15 minutes later 40 miles would separate the 2 of you ..It would take an experienced hiker 12 hours of steady hiking with no breaks to reach the bike rider.......By the time he has hit the 100 mile marker most of his 4.5 gallon fuel supply will be gone but he's in no immediate danger of running out..........After 1 steady hour of going flat out balls to the wall, any skin that was exposed is seriously windburnt from friction and the resultant heat buildup from the air molecules contacting exposed skin. You've travelled the width of a fairly large state, and are critically low on fuel. You've put some serious miles between your starting point and where you're at now...150 miles to be exact.... AND YOU"VE ONLY BEEN RIDING FOR 1 HOUR !!

      @MrGreenelight 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      It is the trip odometer.
      If you want to see the distance of a particular trip, you can reset it at the start of your trip.
      most newer vehicles 2000 and later have this capability.

    • @MrGreenelight
      @MrGreenelight 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@evanmorrow3333 you are incorrect. The tenths of a kilometer is the most right column in both odometers with the white background. The upper reading is the bikes total mileage/ kilometers and the lower reading is for a specific trip reading, the trip reading can be reset, the overall reading cannot.
