- Welcome back to the series! As you can see, we are at Purser Hulsey for the number 18 spot on the board. This trail is very very good for beginner to intermediate riders. There is nothing to big and not to many roots that the absolutely true beginner couldn't get over and have fun on. Now, if you are looking for some advanced terrain and chunk, go somewhere else. It seems that roots and rocks are removed every time I ride here. The trail is very fun to just blaze a lap to see how fast you can go though.
The jumps... not good. I am definitely not trying to bash someones hard work because I know there are long days in the sun to even get the dirt there. But these are really not good jumps. They are tall enough to give you some proper air time but they are WAY too short. If you hit these with proper speed and form, you will go to flat every single time. Now, if you have very good bike control, you definitely can make them work but if you're looking for jumps, there are tons of better spots in the area that you should try instead. I know lots of work has been put into these and I am certainly appreciative of that, but just because someone worked hard on something, does not make it a quality product.

Purser should be higher, solid trails imo

I would have put this a little higher, the back loop does get really flat in some spots but it's still fun. jumps aren't great though

Personally, I’d have purser about where you do, just due to the amount of walkers on it. Same with the colonel.
Surprisingly it’s still at 90%. Every trail will have someone who disagrees because every “home” trail is better than the rest. No trail is my home trail so I’m a bit more objective I think hahaha
