    Andrew, always enjoy your videos. I think it would be very interesting to do a sort of mini series on club repair, modification, etc as they come into your shop just like this video. Interesting to watch. Keep them coming!

      Hi Todd, great idea will do some more repair shop content.

    Andrew an excellent video once again. You made it look really easy, your comment about taking your clubs to a professional club fitter I totally agree with. The correct balance, weight and feel of the club is what you are trying to achieve and in the Putter it was unaltered. Keep these excellent videos coming and I will keep watching them.

    Great video. One comment. If you mark the original balance point, then remove some of the shaft at one end...you will still "have" a balance point...but it will be slightly closer to the head in this particular case.

    good video.only thing i think Andrew missed is the the shorter shaft can make the shaft diameter a bit less,meaning some masking tape might be necessar
    y especially in the right hand

    Where can you buy a 43inch driver in the UK? Every site I go onto doesn't seem to state the length of the club. The couple who did state the length, only seemed to sell 45inch and above. Or do you have to get the 45 inch driver and have it shortened like this?

    Good video, most golfers I know have very expensive putters that are too long for them.I want a Scotty Cameron putter at 32inches but I only see them at 34inch what should I do in this case?

    • @andrewainsworth497
      @andrewainsworth497  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Steve, never retailed Scotty Cameron putters so maybe not the man to ask, pretty sure if you found a good fitter for Scotties you could order to your specs. Maybe call Titleist direct and speak to them. All the best Andrew

      They seem to be around, but may not be as common if 34 is the average

    When you cut it do you technically cut a tad bit shorter to account for the extra length added by the grip? I read that somewhere

    • @andrewainsworth497
      @andrewainsworth497  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Kyle, I always allow a little allowance for the butt of the grip. All the best Andrew.

    How does someone determine what length of putter they need to begin with?

    • @andrewainsworth497
      @andrewainsworth497  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Personal preference comes into it, ideally the golfer can get in a set up position with the eyes over the ball with the arms hanging fairly vertical. A good fitter will determine the correct length.

      @@andrewainsworth497 unfortunately with the lockdowns and everything, seeing a fitter is not an option. I have been waiting for a year now to get fitted for clubs with no end in sight. I finally on my own determined that I need Gold Dot clubs from Ping, which I am trying to track down online now. I have purchased a set of gold dot irons, but am still searching for a driver and woods. I have now purchased 3 different length gold dot putters but have no clue which one I should be using and which are hindering me

    Good afternoon Andrew. Just out of interest where about in the country are you based. I feel and think because if you are near to Reading, Berks I will book a fitting session? Please let me know where you are and I will let you know about lessons in the future. Regards Charles

    Great video buddy! What would you do to shorten a driver shaft? Love to see a video on that subject.

    • @andrewainsworth497

      Thank you. I have a F7 driver that I want to shorten by at least an inch and also back-weight the grip. Lots of issues, I know, big loss in swing weights, total weight, counter-balance feel issues, etc. LOL

    Call the ambulance for a the needle going in your arm? Is this because the grip liquid is extremely toxic or just being super cautious with stabbing your arm?

    • @andrewainsworth497
      @andrewainsworth497  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Both really, would not recommend using the needle on the gun unless you have experience.
