Even when he had the cancer, he still made Black Panther, 21 Bridges etc, when he was dealing with the colon cancer he still managed to make one of the greatest superhero movies of all time, Chadwick was and still is such an important figure to the Black community. He has inspired so many people in so many different amazing ways. His death was so shocking I still can’t believe he is gone. He will forever be missed by millions, I wish he was still here so he can see the impact he has created.
The Fact that he played such Physically Draining roles while suffering from a Disease that Takes such a Tole on the Body is a Testament to his Strength and Endurance in and of itself. Not to mention how he would go and visit cancer patients while he himself suffered from it. He was a hero both on and off screen *R.I.P Chadwick Boseman*
I might've cried hard at Wakanda Forever scene lol.. As a black woman in America I've lived a comfy life, small incidents nothin compared to my black brothers and sisters who've seen and had things done worst to them. But one thing we have together is Chadwick Boseman as our superhero. Somebody we can look up to, someone who isn't just a hero on screen but off screen as well! I love Chadwick and I'm happy that he's no longer in pain 🤗. Rest in Power Chadwick we love you 🖤🖤🖤🖤

RIP CHADWICK BOSEMAN...Wakanda Forever...Chadwick Forever...
MJ is so precious. I love her reactions and how she gets really emotional about never hearing Chadwick Boseman saying "Wakanda Forever!" again. Just really wanted to give MJ a hug in that moment
Thank you... for this I moved to korea a few years back and my experience as a half black man.... to put it nicely was very negative...girls didn’t take me seriously in relationships and I was on the receiving end of a lot of racist acts and attacks. (Ironically being that up until that point, korean culture and language were my favorite in the world up until that point, it was so bad I severed my contract paid the fine and moved to japan) It’s good to see Koreans showing love to someone so important in the black community.
Yeah, absolutely same for me. I love Korea as whole but when traveling there i never dare to speaking Japanese & using english cause as far I know they're really hate Japan. I know is from bad history between imperial back then, but now it just a bad past & we move on. Glad I have a few Korean friends who's open minded, but still racist is bad topic when it come to Japan, black peoples, & Southeast Asian.
@@Abelion_Jayakerto I also find it weird considering Japan is one of the biggest markets for their entertainment sector. I know it's hard considering their history but the people who were in WW2 are either dead or old.. as someone who is half black and half Japanese, I didn't particularly enjoy my trip last year, even though I love the country and it's culture.
to everyone around the world whether black, white, asian, Latino or any mix in between... anyone who felt Chadwick’s loss is apart of the wakandan nation... wakanda forever 🙅🏾♂️
Dang, 42 wasn’t added. 42 was Chadwick’s portrayal of Jackie Robinson, one of the first black Major League Baseball players who pushed the boundaries of race in the world of sports in the late 1940s. The movie is called 42 because that was his jersey number. Fun fact: all Major League Baseball teams have retired jersey number 42 out of respect for Jackie Robinson’s legacy, meaning that no active players will have a jersey with that number.
here's a fun and amazing fact his 1st major gig was playing a character named reggie on "all my children" for 3 days and when he got the role he wanted to know the backstory of the character so they let him go and replaced him with michael b jordan which was his 1st major role before playing in the "wire"
There's something amazing about someone who even at the end of their life continued to pursue what they loved. I feel that he truly wanted to make a difference and leave his mark on the world. That alone is commendable. Chadwick Boseman's greatness will forever be in our hearts ❤
If you've never seen it, check this clip out of Stuart Scott at the ESPY Awards in 2014. He, like Chadwick, was fighting cancer until the very end and did everything he could to pursue what he loved, regardless of the disease ravaging his body. It is the most inspiring speech I've ever seen, and his take on battling cancer is the most profound. Chadwick was one of the most intelligent, charismatic, and genuinely charming actors I've ever witnessed in my life. There is no question the world lost someone special with his passing. Chadwick Boseman was an amazing actor and his role in Black Panther was important not only for the Black community but I think for Minorities in America in general. I’m Asian American and even I could feel change and impact he had after Black Panther was released. Representation is a BIG deal in the states because of how white washed the entertainment industry is. In predominantly monoethnic countries like Korea, seeing people that look like you on screen doesn’t seem like a big deal but imagine growing up only ever seeing white people play ethnic characters. I love Scarlet Johansson but she played an Asian character in Ghost in the Shell for goodness sake. Movies directed/produced by minorities, actors of minority, etc. are often overlooked and overshadowed by their white competition and don’t get the recognition they deserve due to prejudice and racism that still exists in Hollywood today. Black Panther, in my opinion, was the catalyst that finally got Hollywood thinking about proper representation in films and shows due to how well it did and how well it was received. I definitely think you guys should do Asian representation sometime in the future as well!!

I immediately started crying as soon as I saw the title of this episode! 😭 Thank you so much for doing this! Chadwick worked so hard and surrounded himself with the best and most ride or die crew in history. No one leaked his situation or photos of him not looking/feeling well for FOUR YEARS! How many celebrities can say they feel assured their circle and management team would be this loyal. He was a good man and he did well by his family, crew, his people, and fans all the time. RIP Chadwick
Actually, Black Panther was the first black superhero in the mainstream comics and premiered in 1966. There were other black superheroes before him but they were all sidekicks and not from a major comic publication like Marvel Comics, and Stan Lee wanted to create a black superhero who not only had a major role (ie not sidekick), but he also shattered negative stereotypes of blacks by being a King, African (not from a colonial nation), wealthy (since most blacks in the 1960s America were poor), and intelligent (many blacks back then couldn't afford a good education in America). This is why T'Challa/Black Panther is such a positive role model, even to this day.

He played really great roles and he literally put his allllll into those roles and they will be watched by many now and to come ...May Chadwick R.I.P .... and thank you OSSC for doing this show amd honoring him ...I always enjoy your episodes but today ...this one was very special indeed
I’m 16, and I’ve always loved Chadwick. When I watched the Black Panther movie, I was probably 11 or so when it was in theaters. I’m from Ethiopia, and seeing the first black superhero look and act so epic and cool made me proud to be black. I was 13 when the news announced his death due to his ongoing battle of colon cancer…. I was shocked. I was in denial that such an influential figure to the black community just suddenly died… R.I.P, Chadwick. Even in 2024, we will never forget you ❤
I avoided anything to do with Chadwick....and THEN I saw this and burst into tears. I didn't know him but I appreciated his craft and he seemed like a genuine human being. As someone who has had my struggles and still struggles with painful illnesses; I can sympathize with but at the same time, can only imagine how hard it felt to deal with his sickness and how mentally strong you have to be to continue with life despite these painful moments. I look up to Chadwick even more now in ways I didn't know I would after his death.
He was such an amazing actor! I really enjoyed this video! Black Panther wasn’t the first black superhero though. There were many movies before this one that came out but THIS one was the one that became popular around the world because of the MCU.
When I heard he died it was so heartbreaking. Some of those movies I’ve never seen so tomorrow I’m gonna watch one just to get a feel of him and his acting. He was such a great actor and just a hardworking man. Watching these clips you’ve put up wow the way he changes into his character is amazing especially James brown wow. Rip legend wakanda forever ♾❤️
I am a fan of superhero movies for a long time and Black Panther was one of the best superhero movies out there. When I found out he was battling cancer while starring in Black Panther I was shocked. He was an incredible actor who was taken away too soon. RIP Chadwick Boseman you will be missed.
I don’t even know why I’m here just to make myself cry…All I know is Chadwick was some superhuman who was sent here on a mission to turn media mediums upside down or maybe right-side up…Mission complete, brother…rest easy, no more pain and suffering…You did more than well…
I cried effortlessly when I heard the news of his death. Black panther is my favorite character in Marvel and Chadwick is one of my favorite actors. So kind and down earth 😢😢
I've never cried once when a celebrity has died...yet I outright sobbed when I heard the news of Chadwick's passing...Wakanda Forever, Chadwick Forever
too mj i want to thank you for your tears because it shows that you not only cared that he died and how he died but you showed that you understood why he choose the roles he did and how they affected the black communities throughout the world . And i want her to know that when something bad painful and unjustly happens to 1 black person it affects us all be we all know that it can happen to us
Chadwick was an icon in the black community and literally one of my favorite actors. Cried for a good while when I saw the news (I was in denial at first tbh 😭). Idk man...I’m not the type to get connected with characters but he really struck a cord with me And the reactors are so right, black Panther is Chadwick Boseman. His legend will live on.
Chadwick Boseman will always be the hero I can count on even in my difficult times, i imagine him patting on my shoulder and saying that he still here with me. 😭😭 Wakanda Forever.
Gonna miss him forever 😭😭 he made our community just shine and made our young black kids know that they can be what ever want they want and ever for us adults and we are so happy to has a black superhero that look like us and can celebrate it ☺️
Chadwick Boseman was my super hero and shall forever be. Growing up not seeing people that looked like me or were even just a different race really had an affect on me that I didn’t know it had. His death was shocking and as a person in the black community sad. I shall forever look up to him as my hero. Chadwick Boseman, May you rest in POWER ✊
This was wonderful but I could not help wishing that they could have been shown some of the beautiful tributes children made: photos of action figure funerals and little kids signing Waianae forever As well as representations of all the visits he made with children cancer patients when no one knew he had the condition.
Great video. Small sidenote: He wasn't the first black superhero. He was the first black superhero of such deep meaning. He was the best Black Panther we could have ever asked for. R.I.P Chadwick 😢

WAKANDA FOREVER!!
Thank you very much for paying tribute to Chadwick Boseman and sharing your thoughts on some of his roles. It means alot.
Chadwick was an icon in the black community and literally one of my favorite actors. Cried for a good while when I saw the news (I was in denial at first tbh 😭). Idk man...I’m not the type to get connected with characters but he really struck a cord with me
And the reactors are so right, black Panther is Chadwick Boseman. His legend will live on.
These youths were very respectful, kudos to them, and knowledgeable.
I love Chadwick Boseman so much
“You can’t hear the word ‘forever’ from him anymore”…WHY did you have to make me cry at 8am?😭
His last movie is actually "da 5 bloods" on netflix and i think he might have done another one after
Yea with Viola Davis and produced by Denzel.
Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom
When MJ started to cry I felt every words and it made me even more sad 😔.
#chadwickforever #longlivetheking
Chadwick Boseman will always be the hero I can count on even in my difficult times, i imagine him patting on my shoulder and saying that he still here with me. 😭😭 Wakanda Forever.

Rip a true king
R.I.P Chadwick Boseman, you will be remembered forever as our favourite superhero and actor.
Gonna miss him forever 😭😭 he made our community just shine and made our young black kids know that they can be what ever want they want and ever for us adults and we are so happy to has a black superhero that look like us and can celebrate it ☺️
I wanna hug all of you. Thanks, guys.
May he Rest In Peace
Thank you for this 🙏🏽🙏🏽. This was a beautiful tribute. 🙅🏽♂️🙅🏽♂️🙅🏽♂️🙅🏽♂️
They should have put 42 in there as well. That was another powerful, meaningful, movie, that he did.
My favorite movie of his is the movie "42" playing Jackie Robinson. Definitely one of my favorite movies of all time.
Goodbye Chadwick...you were my favorite
Its sad to see him pass away so early
Rest in power KING
Loved your reaction🙏
I really cried 😭😭😭 when MJ was crying
Cancer almost took my mum so this makes me so grateful that she’s still alive 💕
I cried for 2 days when he died
This was wonderful but I could not help wishing that they could have been shown some of the beautiful tributes children made: photos of action figure funerals and little kids signing Waianae forever
As well as representations of all the visits he made with children cancer patients when no one knew he had the condition.
Correction, the first Black Marvel Superhero movie is Blade. Black Panther is the first Superhero movie to feature all black casts respectively.
Awweee the girl who was about to cry😭😭😭
Chadwick Forever!
MJ brought me to tears ❤️
Great video. Small sidenote: He wasn't the first black superhero. He was the first black superhero of such deep meaning.
He was the best Black Panther we could have ever asked for. R.I.P Chadwick 😢
may chadwick rest in paradise🙏❤
Chadwick has left behind such a legacy, it’s just a shame that it wasn’t a longer one 😞(also... MJ made me almost cry too😂)
He will forever be my favorite hero 😭✨ Chadwick forever ♾ wakanda forever ♾ my king 😭
He played Jackie Robinson in the movie 42 as well
Chadwick FOREVER 💜😭😭😭😭😭
