@@MijnWolden - Sanity, at least sanity to a full 100%, is vastly overrated. We al benefit from being slightly cuckoo hete and there. The measure of what we perceive as ‘slightly’ is relative. Just a few days ago I described myself as ‘Totalspinnerin’ to a German colleague. A not-so-subtle wordplay to me being various degrees of insane and a spinner. His reaction was: “Well, you fit right in.” We’re all various degrees of complete and utter fruitcakes at work.
This came out so good! I’ve never tried wet felting before, but I’m going to be attempting this tomorrow and really appreciate the tutorial! Thank you! 😊
toll geworden. The felt becomes more stable if you work with really hot water and then cold, i.e. the temperature shock. I made slippers that lasted a long time
I absolutely love your witches’ hat! If over the years it gets a few holes and weak spots, you might consider getting a felting tool and adding a few bits of fleece here and there. Perhaps a flashlight can help there. A few additional patches, and it only gets better the older it gets! What I love even more compared to the commercial one, is its imperfection. 🤩
Hi , I love your Witches 🧙♀️ Hat. I think you did an awesome job!! Happy Spinning and Halloween 🐏🎎🦇🐈⬛ Take care and stay safe Love and hugs Jen xxxx ❤️🫂❤️🫂
The visible mending is very cute. I was wondering, would needle felting a few additional fibers here and there be an option to provide reinforcement without having to reshape the hat or outright cover the mending? Or do you think it would make it draw in on itself? (I am also a felting beginner haha)
You're welcome 🥰 but yes, I feel like it's important to say that although I love Harry Potter, I distance myself from J.K. Rowling and her ''gender critical'' friends
love the Baldrick reference. you're a woman of good taste.
Thank you ☺️
@@MijnWolden and also of slight insanity.😁😁
Never claimed to have any sanity 😂

I really appreciate this video! I can't find another wet felting witches hat video anywhere. This helped me think through the process a lot!
thank you :)

I did not need another reason to get into needle felting... :p
Awesome hat and awesome music studio in the background! Are you a musical magician as wel? 😁
No but Alexander Nakarada is!
@Mijn Wolden
3:13 You should've started at the bottom of this.
But, you know, NOPE
Very witchy hat! It suits you 😁
Thank you 🥰
Your opening made me subscribe to your channel instantly. Thank you for being a strong ally! 🏳️⚧️🥰
🏳️🌈♥️
What a cool hat! The mended patches also add texture, which makes the hat more interesting I think!
Thank you 🥰 and they do indeed!
Your hat looks as though it were fashioned from spiderwebs very appropriate
Oh my gosh, it's so cute!! And I love the mending 😍
Thank you 🥰
You are awesome 😘
🥰
I've been really enjoying your videos! Thanks for sharing.

Needle felting seems daunting, I have yet to try that craft!
If you ask me, witches hats only look right when felted. Any seamline is disruptive
A bold take i can get behind :)
interesting 😉 can I place some orders?
Maybe when I get a bit better at it 😅
😃
Oh and thank you for stating that JK Rowling is a TERF. I wish everyone who uses Harry Potter content would clarify that.
