- Singapore Airlines is the world’s first airline to operate the Boeing 787-10, which is fitted with the airline’s latest regional cabin products.
This video showscase my nearly 24 hours on-board the world's first Boeing 787-10 delivery flight from Boeing South Carolina to Singapore via Osaka.

Thanks for viewing as this flight is the longest delivery flight I ever took (nearly 24 hours on the B787-10!).
Singapore Airlines have kindly invited me on this flight. I was given good opportunity to film the cabin and have interview with management. My aim is to document what have happened during the 2 days delivery ceremony, cabin tour, behind the scenes and flight to make it speical and fun. (Infotainment is my style)

We just love how you were having fun with the crew and other passengers, even with the CEO of Singapore Airlines! He seems a very humble man.
The most notable thing with Singapore Airlines is "it is a regional product" meaning mostly intended for intra-Asia flights. Somehow, other Asian airlines are levelling up so SQ wants to be one step ahead of the competition. So they are also levelling up. Amazing Singapore Airlines!!! Continue surprising us.
SIA always has been and always will be the best in the business. Best service, best cabin crew, most modern fleet, great food and Changi is always number 1

Mr Wang until you go to economy class, and you think; Why do they insist with the 3-3-3 side by side, when 2-4-2 is most comfortable, and then it hits you profits.
Wasup Doc Wasup Doc it’s not profitable to have ridiculous seat configs in business and lose passenger to other airlines. Travelers in business expects high comfort and pay for it. In economy class people in general don’t care if it’s 2-4-2 or 3-3-3

As a kid at the age of 13, my dad used this airline to go to Holland. It was just started and it was a brand new 707. The smell, was new. And what I saw with the flight crew, i have never forgotton. And still to this day, I will always use them, as I have said, what I saw a way back in 1967 or 68, has left an lasting impression on me. I can recall, we flew with TWA, UTA, PanAM, Teal, and and French air line, from Paris to Holland, so this airline was the best by far, and that was in the later 1960,s. go to see they still on top.

Did you know, SQ's 787-10 has a 19inch seat width in ECONOMY according to seatgurus. That's business class standard on some airlines
i don't see how is this possible! 9 abreast on 787 won't give 19 inches... but if its true, then thats really great!
Not sure really. But then AA has 9 abreast seating on the 787-9 with 16.2-17.1 inches of seat width. Not sure how the same configuration is so different across airlines

Singapore Airlines is my favourite above any other....and apart from Las Vegas, Singapore is my favourite place to visit.
That's because in Las Vegas you can chew gum so it beats out Singapore.
Wayne Samuel is this the only thing you can think of singapore as a country? And who says you can't chew gum? Just that you throw it properly in the bin after you done with chewing.. We only have laws on sales and importation of gums. At least, we have a cleaner looking street that doesn't look ugly with spitted chewing gums all over..
Everyone knows Singapore is a laughingstock when it comes to chewing gum. The fact that there are laws, as you say, against sales and importation of chewing gum makes one wonder where anyone can get the gum, in the first place, to "properly" dispose of in the bin. Base on what you wrote it's fair to say that your post backs up my contention that you can't find gum to chew in Singapore. I could have brought up their punitive punishment but in the spirit of Easter I did not go there.
I am a thoroughbred Singaporean. Subject matter here is the PLANE, not gum. If you want to talk about out-of-context subjects, get your gun laws corrected first,

Over 40 years pf travel with them incl the first 707 flight out of SYD (engine failure) I truly believe that they are consistently a fabulous airline (not the cheapest) and always feel when you leave the plane they have valued the pax as an individual and truly appreciate your business.well done. They are improving and MU has been trained in customer service from hem and is noted for those who travel extensively in China like muself. Happy and safe travels to everyone

in the 70's I did that 23 hours, 5 times, Pan Am and military, of course the military like being in
the cargo hold., I even Island hopped on a DC 3 making my way from Korea to Vietnam

They had seats mostly because it's a delivery flight. They invited the passengers to come along. I'll like to know if they had to pay a base fee to fly.
Well that really depends on season now doesn’t it. I flew Singapore airlines for years, they can be jam packed and no doubt they get overbooked at times. Every airline does it. I definitely agree though, Singapore airlines and its airport maintain to be one of the best in the world. (With the airport being the best)

Awesome! This is amazing because this big bird was flying right over my work place every week. Boeing brings their 787's up Myrtle Beach for test flights and I was lucky enough to see this beautiful plane land and take off again and again.

Nice video Sam. Can’t wait to experience the new business class seat in a few week’s time! I had booked the tickets nearly 12 months ago and I thought I would be on the A330-300 with the older style regional business class seats. Imagine my surprise when I found out I would be amongst the first commercial passengers to fly on the 787-10.

Nice video Sam. Great thing is about this is we will see them in Perth, when Singapore starts scheduled service in them. I do like watching the new planes when they come into my home airport. Loved the T-shirts that you gave away. A nice touch right there and the CEO looked good in it too, as did all the others that wore them.
