  • Captain Morgans is a ~.4 mile downhill trail, with 489 feet of vertical descent, and an average grade of -30.3%. This trail isn't for the faint hearted, and without a doubt will have that Front Range kitty litter when you descend. However, it is an absolute blast if you take the challenge! The split line jump at 1:41 was so cool! And this trail HAS to be gnarly because it's the first time I've heard the boys say slow down and be safe lol

      It's mega steep in some sections... I love it

    I make a lot of video's, non bike related, but this one shows true professional recording and editing. Kudos to the producer!!

    Very cool! I really want to check this technical DH trail out after your video! You guys tore it up. I just wish you did the ending bridge drop feature but I think that was built after this video.

    Awesome! I love this trail! A suggestion I have for another trail review is Mule on mount Herman, even though it’s not very well known it’s gnarly

      How accessible do you think that trail is for filming?

      @GnarlyBsBikes  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Noted! We will start planning tomorrow.

      Its a short climb up with a tight hiking section but I think you guys can handle but to start from the bottom of mount Herman it’s a good climb up but if you drive up to the start of the trail it’s short

    Solid overview, love the balance of when to send it and when to take it slower unless you want a visit to the ER.

    Very rad. I grew up in the Springs and rode Captain Jacks and The Chutes many, many times as a teen in the 90s. So cool to see this new trail (at least it didn't exist when I was a kid), plus how much they modernized The Chutes, and how DEEP the moto tunnel on Jacks is now (was seriously like 3-4ft deep in the late 90s. Thanks for the vids. I gotta get out there and ride these someday!

      A ton has changed! I’d love to chat about some trails you remember and go back and see how different they are today! Would be cool to hear that side of it!

    This might be an idea for a trail in Palmer Palmer park, the trail Cheyenne is pretty gnarly lots of rocks and some quick steep techy climbs

    • @GnarlyBsBikes
      @GnarlyBsBikes  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Absolutely, Palmer is my favorite. We will be sure to get out there to film. Love the recommendation!

    Definitely the hardest C Spgs trail imo. Also, that drop at 1:36 is a lot bigger than it looks on the video haha!

    Cool vid of a great COS classic. Such a shame it's slated to be closed.

      They are actually going to be building another trail off of the trail. Both will be retained. It will be closed just for the construction!
