Glad you're ok. It's great that you can share these adventures w/ your dad. I'm your dad's age? My dad's gone now a few years. Way back, I had gotten some clubs to go golfing w/ him, but, by the time I was able to afford to get them, his shoulder was bad and he had stopped. Enjoy these times w/ him. I can only imagine how happy your dad is, enjoying these memories w/ you.
Man I’m glad you’re OK, that could have been bad. Man Super Dave looks so confident out there, you’d think he’s a former pro. Fun to watch y’all sending it, this one seems too steep for my taste!
Y'all are displaying great practice in respecting this feature and spotting it well. I can't tell you how many stories I've heard of people treating it like it's easy. Not a huge drop but the landing is tough. Heard many crash stories already and saw someone get knocked out here the other day.
You guys hit that good for the first time on it. I haven't road that but used to ride Captain Jacks all the time when I lived in the springs. The s-turns on Captain Jacks were my favorite. Good luck sticking the landing next time!
No tree jump on jimmy’s?! 😉 Rain makes the canyon sooo much better. What a great way to spend Father’s Day weekend riding with pops. I love that COSMBA fixed up Morgan’s and added the bridge. But doesn’t seem they did it great. Have heard a lot of negative feedback on it and even when people grease the landing, doesn’t look pleasant. Props to pops on his riding. He crushed it! What a weird crash that was, man. Glad you’re okay. That dirt just absolutely stopped you in your tracks and spit you out, ouch.
Haha wasn't feeling the tree jump that day but I'll be back for redemption. And thank you, glad I'm fine, but they should take a look at fixing up that landing!
Great groups like COSMBA and COMBA do beautiful work and work their butts off on these new trails but they get designed funny. So much work went into that feature but it doesn't look fun. The trails COMBA built at Maryland Mountain are awesome but the layout of the features are wonky. For example, on Hard Money, many of the kickers, jumps, drops, etc come right after the corners when you are trying to get back up to speed. I hit them all but I'm always thinking how much more fun they would be if there was enough space to generate more speed and momentum. There are also some nice jumps that if you really send will shoot you off the trail. Don't get me wrong, I'm still super grateful to these groups for the work they do to build and improve the trails we ride. THANK YOU Glad you are OK because you definitely landed hard. Thank you too for the video.
Sweet channel! Nice to see someone ripping up n down the front range. Any chance you could drop me a pin of the very first trail you were on? I live near Cheyenne Canyon and have never seen or heard of that one before...cheers!
Awesome video! I've heard so many stories and seen videos of people crashing exactly how you did, Cheyenne cañon is my home trail system but I can't figure out where the secret trail is! Would you be willing to give me the name?
From the camera view it almost looks like you might have overshot that landing. Still kinda funny that you might have been the first crash on that feature.

I'm 52. We definitely have a great time, glad he got me into it! We just make sure we rely on the right amount of technique and bravery!

Definitely not pro but I feel I have improved my technique and overall having a blast! Thanks for the great comments!

Live in the Springs need to get the low down on the secret trail
It's called Jimmy's, about halfway down jacks in a clearing off to the right

Glad to see you recovered from that crash. Cool trail tho!
Wow, you took that like a champ, hope you had a quick recovery!
Thank you! All back to normal now!

Thank you! Excellent comment. I agree that some features and trails are occasionally a bit strange but still feel grateful to have awesome builders!
IDK looks pretty fun and unique to me
Rode ladders today, and my good this is so much bigger in person.
hahaha I saw this one ig. Hell of a crash man
i don't even understand how that feature works. I've never seen a sloped drop quite like that, especially into a pile of cat litter and gravel.
It seems like one of those features that just hurts to do even when you ride it properly lol

Thank you! Send me a dm on Instagram if you got one! Ill put er there

Unfortunately I'm blanking out on the name but it's about halfway down jacks on the right in a clearing. I don't believe it's on any maps either

Nice work
Very nice terrain and forest, which country is this and what area?
Colorado springs, Colorado, USA
Do you think it was the dirt/kitty litter that caused your bike to come to a quick stop when you landed?
Yeah I think that was part of it!
the ride up is medium difficult. dude isnt breathing hard. on an e bike. this trail is slippery kitty litter. dont be fooled by this video
