Hey Josh!! Great video pal!!! Great lighting match with background... that can certainly be tough to achieve.

I always fail with subject placement and shadows. Thanks for your help reinforcing this concept.

thank you for posting this video! I have 3 daylight softboxes. one to each side for lighting my green screen but I don't know where to place the third one. I can place it above the subject like you said but then I don't have a daylight left to light my subject. When using a (extra) video light for my subject it causes shadows on the green screen. I don't have that much space in my room.

Thanks for sharing this is a great video. I was wondering what stands you're using with the RGB Tube Light?

I have the Elgato version of the popup green screen. It's a huge time saver in itself.
You actually don't need to fill in the whole screen with the green screen. As long as the green screen surrounds your subject, you can use rotoscope to remove the extra imagery.

Nope, you don't, masking will do the trick!

@@MomentumProductions1992 Rotoscoping is the same as masking. It's what we visual effects artist call "masking".

You forgot to mention one element; the placement of the subject's key light (should be positioned slightly to the side to avoid casting more shadows on the g/screen).

Actually, many studio lights are placed overhead and pointing dead on. Lights don't have to be off to the side, but mine is. Just make sure it is diffused light.

It’s to small for any real professional whole body work. This would be great if they had a bigger version so the talent can move a bit more.

It’s meant to be portable. Otherwise you’re stuck with muslin cloth or green paint haha
