I'm sure technology of dynamics will evolve to a point that, in the future, special fabrics and new sneakers will help sprinters reduce a few figures... Then what? You can't bring back Bolt (or others) to run under those new conditions, and i'm sure someone will claim that "numbers" is all that matters and Bolt simply had worse figures. Even in the same time frame the conditions are never the same. Take boxers, they need to be in the same weight cathegory, but sprinters (for some reason) don't need to be of same height. Bolt is taller than most others, which means he has longer steps, which in turn means he can cover more distance while running "less". If a shorter man equals Bolt's speed, that means that man is a faster runner. I could mention other conditions but i think i've made my point clear.

Ben Johnson's the fastest over 40m still stands. he has 9 gold world medals they still count should be 15 banned for 3years 5x it is mathematically impossible for bolt to match this he's got 2 gold medals the rest mostly relays and juniors and had no Carl Lewis to compete against.
