Had one of those CB92 a Blue and Silver one a fantastic little bike, that was followed by a blue C72 a 250 in 1964 it had very soft suspension as I remember and I changed the 'cow horn' handlebars for Norton straight type which I much prefered.In 1996 I then had a CB72 and really thought that life could not get any better than this!
Yeah, a mate of mine had a CB72 -it was a lovely bike -so reliable, fast and a good looking bike.A pity Read's didn't sort out your gear problems. I had a CB160 for a while and since 1968 a CD175A -still goes great after 44 years! Same engine, pistons, valves etc original ^_~ Just love Hondas.
Funny you mention ''Reads'' ? Wonder if you mean Reads of Leytonstone'' ? I never had any luck with my Honda 250cc, purchased it second hand from The above ''Reads'', non stop problems with the gearbox, never had gearbox problems with any other bike other than with 3 speed BSA Bantoms, they were known to have gearbox problems. I should have got a brand new CB72 like my mates did, they never had any gearbox problems. I think one of the best Honda's ever made was the little S90, great little bike.

Missing a side engine.cover,I had a cm 160 good bike but my 175 was better both relieable
what's the difference between cb72 and cb77?
np kellogg cb77 was 305 cc and the cb72 was 247 cc ,
見た目もそうだけど排気音のサウンドもいいですね～(*^_^*)
