Always had a weird pet theory about Exit Plan. That This Room starts off heavily featuring the motif at 0:44 (A#5,D#6,F-6,G-6,G#6,A#6), we hear it less and less as the album progresses, and in Exit Plan we only hear the motif once, briefly, after the first climax.
I like Phantasy Star and always wished someone had expanded their soundtrack. This is indeed close enough. Reminds me of the Dreamcast era. Highly grateful FoD.

15/8 u can think of it like ||: 1,2,3,4 1,2,3,4 1,2,3,4 1,2,3 :|| or if u want to count to the 15 u can even count ¼-notes (i find it easier) to 7½/4 like 1,2,3,4,5,6,seven,ei-1,2,3,4,5,6,seven,ei-, basically counting to 7½/4 (-> 15/8) or u can just simply count all 15 ⅛-notes but i personally find the previously mentioned ways easier btw have a nice day whoever is reading this

I dabble with openMPT and have dissected project files from various keygen dumps, and best I can see is that they just have separate samples that they switch between. Is that what you're doing at 2:09 in the center channels, for example? Do I detect elsewhere that you just have really long samples with an envelope baked in? Do you create them in a separate DAW and import them or does your tracker have a parameter for filter stuff? Sorry if this is asked a lot, if you have a blog or know of one that gets into the details, I would love to read into it!

Iirc in OpenMPT you have 1 filter per channel and some commands to set/change cutoff
