Sunshine Nogueira I agree. I came from a family of academics. I chose a different path. Not practical they say. It was a hard journey but I've never regretted it. I made a lot of mistakes but they were mine and I learned. I know people who have a lot of $ but hated their jobs and aren't happy. I always hear them say, "I've always wanted to be...or I wish.." Here I am still doing what I love and surrounded by like minded individuals who are friends and teachers.

Started working at UPS, Exide Battery and did concrete on Saturdays. Invested 2k a month every month into it, Cashed out 250k from the S&P and invested with my Financial advisor Nancy Jane Gluck. Cashed out and Semi retired at 31. Took a year off. Traveled. Came home and started working part time for the insurance, entertainment and pocket change. Work isn't work when you don't have to work. Becoming wealthy can be done in few years. It feels like 60hr work weeks. Feel the pain of discipline early or feel the pain of regret later. I wish everyone well!

Ohhh my gosh l never thought that my thoughts and actions from l was young till now exactly what what he is speaking now. I grew up in a remote area in Cambodia. My villagers mocked and laughed when l went to school. At 16, l moved out of the village. I went to the city. Long to short, l never lost my hope. Now I’m in USA and follow my dream to be a health care provider.
I used to think about entering a big company after graduating, because I thought it would be a symbol of my study achievement although I felt a little bit stressful. However after hearing Jack Ma, I found it helpful and valuable to become a part of a small company instead of a humble component in a big company. It really releases me and encourages me and alters my path in the future! What a meaningful speech!

I grew up as a poor kid and became a single mum. No matter how old you are, if you have dreams go for it! Remember the kentuky fried chicken story. He was a retired soldier from memory and then the rest is the history. I achieved my degree after 50's but I never give up. Still dreaming to become enterpreneur. I managed to invest properties my home, condo and lands it appreciate every yr. I never stop! I am still studying that hoping to become enterpreneur in 5 yrs time. So, don't give up easily. Jack Ma is an example of the problem, he is neither producer or consumer, he is sales which is non productive overhead, taking advantage of hard working producers and adding exorbitant margin to sell to consumers. Proof is a lousy 200,000 employees for the US$22B he's worth, He is the reason business is losing money.

It is true Jack Ma is speaking about his experience however u need such direction to achieve in your area of experience. What you get from Jack Ma is the tamplate for Enterprenuer and you can develop it to your own experience #One will only be defined by the people he associates with and the books he reads.
I realized that the secret to making a million is saving for a better investment. I always tell myself you don't need that new Maserati or that vacation just yet. That mindset helped me make more money investing. For example last year I invested 80k in stocks (with the help of my Financial Advisor of course) and made about 246k, but guess what? I put it all back and traded with her again and now I'm rounding up close to a million.
The pandemic came and taught everyone the importance of having multiple stream of income, unfortunately having a nice paying job doesn't mean you are financial secured anymore. So we all need to put in an extra-income earning chance, like investments.
I agree with you, Covid taught us the importance of having a plan "B" income. You are not safe with just one paying job, when nobody knows what will happen next. Look at what happened to so many of us when the pandemic started. OMG, It wasn't good at all. I believe we all can relate to this?

Be careful not to jump into trading without any proper training because it can be very detrimental. Many folks jump into trading only to suffer great loss at the very beginning. Do not try to imitate a professional traders, better still ask questions. Get the services of a professional stock expert or a licensed broker.

Every failure gives you an understanding to bring you a step closer to finishing your goal. It is so much better to be a visionary, be independent, and finally make it. Joined the Navy at 18 with 7k in the bank. I did janitorial and smoked a lot of pot in high school. Left the Navy after months with 32k in the bank. Invested 29k in the S&P in late 90. Started working at UPS, Exide Battery and did concrete on Saturdays. Invested 2k a month every month into it, Cashed out 250k from the S&P and invested with my Financial advisor Nancy Jane Gluck. Cashed out and Semi retired at 31. Took a year off. Traveled. Came home and started working part time for the insurance, entertainment and pocket change. Work isn't work when you don't have to work. Becoming wealthy can be done in few years. It feels like 60hr work weeks. Feel the pain of discipline early or feel the pain of regret later. I wish everyone well!

My villagers mocked and laughed when l went to school. At 16, l moved out of the village. I went to the city. Long to short, l never lost my hope. He was a retired soldier from memory and then the rest is the history. I achieved my degree after 50's but I never give up. Still dreaming to become enterpreneur. I managed to invest properties my home, condo and lands it appreciate every yr. I never stop! I am still studying that hoping to become enterpreneur in 5 yrs time. So, don't give up easily. I realized that the secret to making a million is saving for a better investment. I always tell myself you don't need that new Maserati or that vacation just yet. That mindset helped me make more money investing. For example last year I invested 80k in stocks (with the help of my Financial Advisor of course) and made about 246k, but guess what? I put it all back and traded with her again and now I'm rounding up close to a million.
The pandemic came and taught everyone the importance of having multiple stream of income, unfortunately having a nice paying job doesn't mean you are financial secured anymore. So we all need to put in an extra-income earning chance, like investments.
I agree with you, Covid taught us the importance of having a plan "B" income. You are not safe with just one paying job, when nobody knows what will happen next. Look at what happened to so many of us when the pandemic started. OMG, It wasn't good at all. I believe we all can relate to this?

Be careful not to jump into trading without any proper training because it can be very detrimental. Many folks jump into trading only to suffer great loss at the very beginning. Do not try to imitate a professional traders, better still ask questions. Get the services of a professional stock expert or a licensed broker.
