I was there yesterday for the first time since 2019 and couldn't contain my tears. It felt so good being back and as a "pass holder" again. My 4 yr old said he loved the magic and couldn't stop saying how happy he was to be back. Also was so surprised all rides were basically walk ons. Looking forward to seeing you guys around the parks again 😀

Way back in the olden days of ticket books, there was a book for special occasions that had tickets of only one value, good for any ride, as opposed to the graduated tickets, so you essentially had all 'E' tickets. They were ' Magic Key' ticket books.
I remember those!

13:00 It's called ALTAR or ALTAR DE MUERTOS, It's basically a shrine dedicated to the ones who had passed. It's decorated with papel picado (cut-out paper), shawls, pictures of the people who has passed, candles, cempasuchil flowers (the orange-yellow ones), the food the person used to like, also sometimes we add object that represents their hobbies, profession or something that reminds us of them. There are a loooot more elements to the altar de muertos but those are the most common. El Día de los Muertos is celebrated on November 2nd every year.
The ofrenda was set up at California Adventure near the corn dog castle, it was the cutest and most lovely thing, they also had that area by it where the kids can color their own spirit animal mask like the one dante turns into at the end. Disneyland had them picture set up with spot with the skeletons i believe.

It’s the simple things right?
We live on the East coast but we consider Disneyland our home park. We are fortunate to have family that lives in Vegas so of course we have to take a side trip to Disneyland when we do. The charm & magic of this special place is beyond words. The Main St. vehicles, Disneyland band, Maynard...I could go on & on. If we could have the Disneyland goats back I would be perfectly happy!
Hi Katie and Spencer, love the Disneyland band. I also loved the pirate band, have they ever played before? I haven't ever seen them. The area where Miguel is greeting is for the day of the dead " Dia de los Muertos". Coco is a great movie. 👍. I loved Maynard in character, he made me laugh!. Fresh baked is now called a chimney sweeper drinking mud, loved it!🤭😜👻🎃🎉🎈

Yesterday was our first day back as Key Holders too. It was the most amazing day of magic. Everything just fell into place and we got onto Rise AND Web-slingers(first time). The ride times were great and we stayed waaaaaaaayyyyy longer than we usually do. I walked by David in DCA and my kids just rolled their eyes because I’m always too chicken to say hi. I missed you guys though and Magic Journey’s. I was so sore and tired but it was worth every minute. I didn’t stop smiling all day! Going back in a couple of weeks and two after that. YAY!!!!! Home sweet Home 🏰

I love the BootStrappers! Glad to see them back and all the Halloween decorations! It's all those atmosphere making stuff that makes Disneyland so great- there's so much to do and see that one day at Disney is never like the the second. I used to be AP but now I live in Virginia and you guys keep me in a Disney state of mind- love you guys!

Oh my gosh. The Bootstrapper Pirate band is my new favorite Disney thing. Every time I've seen them they've always been by the Pirates exit where it was way too congested to stand and enjoy them play.

My first expertise with Maynard was in the tiki room and he did his into and I remember sitting and just being like WTF was that. Now knowing of him and how rare it is (for us out of state folks) to get an experience with him or people like peter (The clapping man) it's always magical. I can't wait to return, I have reservations at the end of October.

One trip my father in law fell in love with those garlic twists. He was eating them for breakfast, well it caught up with him and he had to go back to hotel cause he was puking and he was wondering why he was sick. So we reminded him that eating garlic twist for breakfast may not be the best idea. Lol

I still have a problem with the many STILL MISSING live music acts. Pixarnomic, News Boys, and bands at the food court area at California Adventure, Jambalaya Jazz band, The All American College Band, The Pearly Band, the Trio that plays in the backstreets of New Orleans Square, the Jazz Music on the stage at the French Market, the Big Band on Saturday Nights in Disneyland, not to mention the DAPPER DANS?!? NOT COOL.

I’m going to get emotional to! And I’m like you. I will never complain about the lines in Disneyland either. Things are so sad when there are no people around. DL is my happy place! This year I get to take my grandson. He will be 17 months when we go to DL. The music in the the background makes me feel at home. Disneyland!!!

I envy you local Magic Key Holders! I live in OR and have been an annual pass holder many times, however, it’s always a marathon. Getting to the parks at rope drop and staying until closing gets more and more exhausting the older I get. I would LOVE to live nearby and get to go at my leisure and at a slower pace. Maybe once I retire I will move, ahhhh 💖

Thank you for this video. We’ll be back in Disneyland next weekend for the first time since it has opened during the pandemic, and this is the first time we’ve been annual pass holders, or key holders. We visited DisneyWorld in November and it was so magical, but next weekend will touch on a different level.

We were able to get our Magic Keys this week (after being in the online que for over 6 hours). We live in Utah-do we can’t go a lot..but we try to go a few times a year. We used to have the Flex Passes and they were great for us..so we got the Enchant Key Passes because they are basically the same to the Flex Passes. We have reservations to come soon and can’t wait to use our new Magic keys 🔑 👍🙂

Today, (Sunday morning) we purchased our magic "DREAM KEYS" right now. We're set to go back at least once before we return for my Wifey's B-Day around "Turkey Day". Hope to run into you and drinks at Trader Sam's or Tortilla Joe's is on us. Maynard is the best!
