In the USA, people are taught that Dandelions are weeds (as well as some other nutrienf-rich plants) . It's SO unfortunate because those are AMAZING plants with so many uses!

I at least used to have some antique ones…if I ever find them again and didn’t give them to my Mom (which is my suspicion) I will send them to you because they’re all aged with patina and they are so your vibe 😊

You are quite right in saying wild flower. The definition of a weed is, “a plant in the wrong place”. So a rose in a cornfield is a weed.

So, let me just ask - why should you feel silly taking your camera out at an event like Wimbledon? It’s *because* of what you do (vlog, blog, shoot videos) that you are able to be at an event like that. People like myself, who will never *ever* get to go and watch something like that (despite a lifelong love for tennis - I *am* Swedish: Björn Borg was/is a household name) would absolutely *love* to see what it’s all about. Of course, I’m not insinuating that it’s something that you absolutely should do, but then you shouldn’t mention it on any of your social media platforms that you’re going (my opinion) but, then again, you’re there with Elizabeth Arden to celebrate their ‘Eight Hour’-series. I just don’t get it. Why feel ‘silly’ when you’re invited to an event due to what you do and how you’ve become a brand name? I’m confused.
Have you ever felt awkward in front of the camera? I know I am. Now imagine that x10, because you're talking to a camera, in front of a lot of people! I get it completely haha.
@@lucyheneke I have, yes. *But* it's not my job. Nor would I choose to make it my job. Lydia has made a career out of being in front of the camera. This is why she gets invited to exclusive places and that is why I, as a viewer, feels a little 'left out' when she's shy in front of the camera all of a sudden. I just find it a bit odd. Unless, of course, certain places are too 'posh' and 'exclusive' and that's what's making her feel awkward. If that's the case, the people making her feel uncomfortable should know better.

Again, none of the links work and with no brand name description, outfits are impossible to find. There are so many smocked sundresses on Amazon that look similar, if one is preferred over the other, it would be nice to know who sells it.
The black and white floral dress- not so crazy about the huge white bow but it would be gorgeous as a wide leg jumpsuit with a thick black belt and gold buckle, however, it, along with most of your outfits are 👍💕 when you wear them…

You can buy vintage flower frogs like the one you bought from Amazon. They can be found in different sizes and maybe even from glass. Some people collect the old ones.

A plant that gets aggressive if it moves to another zon that's when it might grow aggressively bc it get the right circumstances. And if you try to take it away it still comes back. White is such a clean look. On the east coast there is a party called the white party and everyone comes in white. It’s on the beach along the east coast, sounds like fun England should do it.

You could probably find antique frogs when you’re out shopping. They were made out of glass and metal very cool for arranging flowers. Green glass mostly. Talk about heat wave here in Austin TX. it has been in the 100’s since the very beginning of June. It’s already 107 degrees right now at 2:00pm. No rain it is brutal. The low temps are in the 80”s. Well, to be fair….it’s her job so she’s really filming it for content and making sales for Amazon rather then shopping for herself. She does keep some but most of it is sent back, it’s part of the job as an influencer so you can’t blame her for shopping when it’s her job.
She sends it all back. They send it to her to film pay her and she sends it back
All these influencers are the same. Nothing substantial to do. Vacuous and dull.

Hey Lydia, thought I’d let you know where the “floristry frogs” you refer to came from. They’re actually “kenzans” and they originate from a traditional Japanese floral arrangement practice called “ikebana”. Would love if you could show some recognition of this in upcoming vlogs if you happen to see this comment, as I think it’s important to acknowledge where these materials and practices (like the guasha) originate from.
And to clarify, gua sha is an ancient Chinese medicine practice (not Japanese, if that was unclear).
Looking forward to seeing your beautiful and wild arrangements using the kenzan! P.s. Using a wide, shallow dish as a vessel instead of a vase may also be something you enjoy 💛
