[SSBU] The No-Hitter in Smash Ultimate (is Ludicrous)

- No-Hitters in Smash Ultimate are ridiculously hard to achieve. Today, we'll explain why losing games is a core part of competitive SSBU, explore what happens when players don't lose any, and how someone managed to win a major tournament without losing a single game.
Corrections: The reason Lararashi was seed 1 at Sumabato SP 4 was due to round robin pools. Lararashi outplaced Atelier and Nishiya in his round robin pool (where Atelier was the original 1st seed) and as such went into main bracket with the 1st seed. Thanks for the info Izumi! - เกม
Re: Sumabato SP 4:
Sumabato ran round robin bo1 pools at the time to feed into final bracket. These pools were run paper, and have largely been lost to time, especially due to Twitter suspending the original Sumabato Twitter account, but their results are recorded, and pictures of pools can be found if you know where to look. It appears that Atelier was actually the 1st seed at Sumabato SP 4, but went 7-2, losing out on the first seed to Lararashi, who went 8-1.
Shuton did indeed 9-0 his pool.
Took a while to get going, but still an enjoyable video with plenty of highlights. I'll keep an eye out in the future
Gtfoh LMAO the player reveal caught me off guard so hard. Please make more videos like this, the way you tell stories like these is special. Thank you!
Great video!
(spoilers for Sumabato SP46 results):
Miya won Sumabato SP46 with only 2 games dropped
PLEASE don't stop making these videos, they're incredibly in depth and engaging
insane video, love it
I always love the Google Earth presentation for videos! I would love to see more data/statistics surrounding this stuff; it felt a little one-note seeing just standings and brackets most of the time, but I can see why a lot of it would be difficult to gather.
It’s crazy how well madeyour videos are vs how little views you get. Hope you get the audience size you deserve soon!
Super impressive man. Combining Jon Bois and smash, super impressive stuff
Great video !
Please keep making videos these are fantastic
I love ur vids so much
sick vid, keep up the good work
Great video! I'd probably equate a JV5 to be more like a perfect game than a no hitter, though, in terms of difficulty/rarity.
great video
