Nice video. I don't know why I never thought of using acrylics for the washes. Cause I certainly don't like the smell of long drying time of oils. I'll have to give that a go
I just watched Josh on AMC Live from a few days ago; he gave both of us a shoutout. Thought I'd come over and check your channel out - subbed! I'm working on a Dodge pickup that's going to be a county work truck with a VCG compressor trailer. The kit came with a bent hood (box was fine!), so I decided to step outside my comfort zone and am attempting to rust and mud things - I decided this AFTER the top paint! It's coming together... I'm looking forward to the tutorial - I've never used pigments, and don't have the first clue how to!
@TexJester-no8th thanks for the sub and I have just subbed you. To me there is nothing to weathering. But I will be doing a series on my weathering process. Thanks for stopping by

@@dirtroadcinderella1854 Just speaking for myself, I would prefer it in parts....because I'm a little slow when it comes to learning something new.

Very cool assortment of materials. I'm just starting to dabble in weathering. I like how the salt method worked on my rust bucket GB project.
