I've been wanting some way to keep my checkbook, postage stamps and address labels...yes, there are still a small number of bills that I pay the old fashioned way.😄
This little folio thingy looks ideal, with a couple modifications for the bulk of the checkbook.
LOVE your folios.❤
Good husband, saving those files for you!
💝 Love it 💝
Very nice.
My husband knows the same thing-he better bring home paper being thrown away. lol I really love this little project!!
Tfs! So cute. And I totally agree with that little bit about Mondays. Lol
Wonderful
Hello and Good morning from Alabama
Yea! I love these things.. I just wing the measurements. Get the out side measurements and scale down from there, for the pockets.. I love this. It is about like what I have made.... it is so validating to see I am not so wrong. Love me a score board, it is my friend. Oh yes corner-under all of it. I have not sewn any thing yet.. I am not sure I will at any point it looks nice though.
Great item.. tyfs.😍
Cute & useful...
Cool!!!!!
So I think I see my mistake...I think. Playing around some more and think I got some initial measurements wrong. Thought I was being careful...but 🤣. This is like the difference between cooking and baking. You are very precise-I tend not to be 😉. When I am more patient, will try again-thanks for your very interesting design!
Absolutely LOVE this!!!!
You're sounding better, hope you are? :)
Cute little project, perfect for stickers and tags
The hubby found me a used sewing machine , knowing I would strictly use it for projects that contain mostly paper .... in high school my home ec teacher basically did my whole project so I am hoping with some more years under my belt I’ll be able to pick up the whole sewing machine thing. Luckily I have youtube this time lol ... already been watching how to videos and I haven’t even turned the machine on yet...
Pen pal letters! THANK U! 💌😩💖
Oooooooo cute cute cute ..
you totally amaze me how easily you punch with your crop a dile …. my heads down on the counter and i'm trying to line everything up …. i'm sure there's a simple rule but I don't know what it is (totally challenged by everything) anyway, love this little folio thingie, you rock the casbah TFS
Fabulous little pocket!!! Love it!!! Where did you find the We R Memory Keepers Template / Angle measuring thingy!!! ♥️♥️♥️
Another great project. "Guestimates" rarely work for me- so I go the OCD route and measure everything - and measure twice. LOL
I love when my husband brings me random things from work knowing I will love it and use it! We like to complain they don't know us or understand us. Hahaha! Not true!
I like this piece!! Will definitely try this. Cool bracelet!! Did u make it?
I love your channel. Tfs.
I love your bracelet. Where did you buy it?
Please share link.
What kind of hole puncher do you use? I love the fact that it is adjustable!
Yoohoo, could you pretty please tell me, where I could get such a scoreboard? I have never seen such a thing but now I neeeeed it ;)
Question. When you sew these pieces on your sewing machine do you use special needles or thread?
oh my gosh i literally uploaded a video a few hrs ago of the big brother of this !! LOL😆
Nik! This is terrific - please, need nomenclature help for search: 1. What do you call the paper scoring board-thingy? 2. What words to I search for the hole punch / brad cruncher thing?? Thank you!!!
I'm not Nik, but I was staring at these items in JoAnn's and Michael's less than an hour ago, trying to work out which to get!
1. Score board or scoring board - Martha Stewart and We R Memory Keepers brands are easy to find. I got one that is marked in terms of paper size instead of every quarter of an inch and it drives me mad, so don't get that! (Might be a UK speciality because of A4 and A5 paper sizes). We R Memory Keepers have a combined paper trimmer/score board that looked like a good purchase if you are starting out and need the trimmer too.
2. I think it's called a crop-a-dile. The blue colour makes me think it is by We R Memory Keepers, but I could be wrong. I spent so long staring at all the shiny things it all got a bit muddled up.
Both items are in the scrapbooking and paper crafting section. If there's a good craft/scrapbook shop near you they probably have similar tools.
And to think I went in for embroidery thread!
@@carolinesandford4439, Thank you! I went googling right after I wrote this and found I'd stumbled on the right words to search. I'll check on the crop-a-dile. Thanks for your tips!
Fun. What is the machine called that you used to make the holes and put that metal hole in with? Thanks!
Hopefully this will help get my mojo back....seem to have lost it, so if you happen to come across it....send the bloody thing home please....ask Donna if she's got it...
😂😂
Is there sewing on the back
I think your verbal measurements are off. Trying to follow video. The slot pocket that you put on the rounded corner piece should be 5” by 2 3/4... you say 4 1/2 by 2 3/4
