Soooo, where have you been all my life?!?!? No idea why I haven’t discovered you earlier, or why we are not best friends living next door to each other, but seriously girl, you made my week. I’ve been watching you non stop this whole entire week, or at least since the day this particular video showed up on my “we think you may want to see this video” feed that TH-cam curates for me. “Finally!”, I said, “my kind’a girl who talks and thinks like me and doesn’t care if her brain farts all over the place while creating beautiful amazing wonderful stuff.” I kid you not, your videos really brought a ray of sunshine in my heart and gave me the hope that people like us still exist. I have a reason to go back to my thrift stores, not that I need to cause I got way too much stuff already, and find little junk I can turn into treasures. Saw the little video you did on making matchboxes and it reminded me of this little chest of drawers I made when I was like six or seven years old. I think I may make a curiosity chest of drawers in some kind of book form. You see how my brain works? Yeah, I know you know. I am literally obsessed with boxes. And luggages. And train cases. And fine china tea cups. Oh and yarn... cause I crochet. Yeah. And I paint and draw and do digital art. I know what you’re thinking... this woman is crazy. Yup! I sure am a basket case of craziness, creative craziness that needs to be contained or not... Anyways, Nik, thanks for letting this crazy restless heartisan blabber on your comments feed. And more so, thank you for all the amazing videos you put up. Did I tell you I am also an art teacher? Yeah, I played your videos in class while the kids were working independently. They sure got a kick out of them even though they just listened to you. You got a boat load of fans in one sitting. Looking forward to more stuff you’re gonna make. Best, Mrs. C (aka Ligia)

Nik you continue to be a tonic. You are my kind of human. Poop is extremely funny in my family too. Nothing like a good poop joke or whatever to give one a tear rolling good belly laugh for us. Love this. Thanks so much. A new project is very imminent ... ⭐️

Beautiful work Nik! The librarian in me is always happy to give old books a second life. Not just for environmental reasons, but for giving them a second life as a beautiful piece of art. I just realized that for some reason my computer kept starting your video one past the beginning. That red book is just gorgeous!

I cannot believe that I came across this, for the last few weeks I have been crafting with my grandson. We have been making tiny books for a dolls house and I need to make a bookcase for them. Also I have been making a lapbook with Mike Deakin’s video and he mentioned you as his inspiration.

I remember getting stationary sets in book form like this as a kid around 10 to 12. I loved them. They usually had the paper envelopes and a place for pen. I believe one I had, had an address book on one side. They were great to use while sitting outside and writing letters because the inside of the book made a great writing surface. Thank you, for taking me down memory lane.

This is AWESOME!!! Also, love hearing you talk about growing with boys. They can be so much fun. Personally, my brothers were jerks they weren't fun at all(not really, loved them lots) but my boys were more fun, especially my son Zachary. When we lived in Alaska during the winter, he and his friend, Liam figured out that if you farted outside , and it was cold enough, the fart would kind of freeze and not give out a bad odor. But the second it got a little bit warmer then out comes the smell!!!! So he and his friend would fart into their caps and then quickly open the back door and throw it in the house. It was just it was HILARIOUS!! Real stinky, too. 🤣🤣🤣

This is so cool, my definitely my next project is going to be a portable kit! I made a fabric pouch with a load of pockets and pen/pencil/glue etc. holders for my travel journal for a recent trip but had some problems with toating around the extra bits and pieces. Such a great idea to have the eyelets in the middle as you can tie down a signature and attach it to another book when completed, so the signature stays safe and all the bits n bobs needed are right there!!
