They don’t make romcoms like this anymore I love Sandra bullock as an actress to me she is the epitome of a move star also rip to Betty white the legend she was so funny in it. When I was little I wanted to be just like Margaret. I never once thought she was mean, rather than mean she put work before family (because she didn't have any) and while it was wrong she expected others to do the same, she was never mean. Like with Bob, she was fair and had simple but straightforward expectations. I still aspire to be her one day lmao. Never understood people that didn't like her, she was like any other male CEO but even nicer, like who gives you 2 months for another job AND allows you to resign? Anyways she's still my fave female lead character from a romantic comedy. Also her and Reynolds have insane chemistry together they work really well. Also she doesn't even threaten Andrew to marry her, she's saying facts. His career depends on her, and is not gonna go anywhere with Bob if he comes back because he helped get him fired publicly. If she walks away, he starts from 0. Is just facts lmao.
so true, just like they say, if a man acts that way he's assertive/dominant/confident/etc, all positive things, but if a woman acts that way she's a bitch. 😑 but yeah, she was a bit cold and it was wrong of her to blackmail andrew in the beginning, but otherwise she was honestly just a really competent, fair boss. kudos to women (or anyone regardless of gender tbh) who aspire to be like her, just so long as you remember to let love into your life as well, whether that be via romance, found family or friends. :)
@@MonAhgasInsomniAroELF Technically she never blackmail Andrew. She telling him fact and let him making a choice. She said, 'if Bob take her place, Bob will fire Andrew.' The rest was Andrew's choice.
I mean it was kinda implied she was generally rude too, like when she ignored that other secretary who said hi when she walked into her bosses office and how she was pretty harsh towards Andrew even though he had worked so hard for her even about to cancel going to his grandmas 90th bday party just to work more for her...
@@scorpiongurlz89 that's what blackmail is. it's putting someone in a position where they only have 2 options and both are bad. everyone _does_ have a choice when it comes to blackmail. no one HAS to respond to it, but the majority of the time they do because the blackmailer is offering the slight lesser of the two evils. in effect, she said "marry me or you'll end up fired" so, she _did_ blackmail him.
@@MonAhgasInsomniAroELF Except, the firing part was never under her control. What happened was bad for both of them. She offered him a solution to both of their problem. I would call that mutual benefits. The 5 years prison came later. Both of them didn't know about it until later. Once Andrew found out about it, he upping the bargain so it would be more beneficial for him. Blackmail only benefit one person.

50:37 Honestly, this is the key to why so many marriages end. They stop "dating" each other. Marriage is all about pursuing each other and constantly getting to know your spouse. Over time we do change, and it's not always for worse, but if you marry someone thinking they're going to always be the same person, then you're going to wake up one day and realize the change was gradual. And if you didn't grow in love and continue to learn about the person you married, it's going to be a shock. My hubby and I have only been married going on 13 years, but I've watched my grandparents' marriage of 60+ years and the heartache my pawpaw has been going through since my mawmaw passed last week. I want to grow old with my hubby, and it's more heartbreaking to see the marriages ended because the "dating phase" was "over."
Sandra Bullock is one of my favorite actresses! While You Were Sleeping, Miss Congeniality, Practical Magic, and Speed are all excellent and should be added to your watch list. I really like this reaction. You all are so funny!

YES!! The proposal is my favorite romcom. I love the dynamic of their characters and I love the comedy of this show. RIP Betty White, she really was the star of this film. The proposal is a movie I watch every time I sick, and I’m sick right now watching this so it’s pretty ironic y’all watched this and uploaded this the same time as me being sick. I love the proposal and I loved y’all’s reaction!

I love this watch along. This was a lot of fun. I’m definitely Team Ryan Reynolds. I love Deadpool and that movie he made called Buried. Free Guy was so good too.

One my favorite movies. Rest in power dear Betty White thank you for years of light love and laughter. My favorite part is the ritual where Margaret gets down and Andrew shows up and as they walk away he goes. "You're a freak!" And then Margaret goes "Shut up" and playfully punches him. A fantastic movie to check out with Ryan's actual wife is Age Of Adaline fantastic movie. I always cry at the end of this one and Age of Adaline though.
I saw this movie while on a plane, I laughed, and I cried! My husband picked me up from the airport, and he couldn’t quite figure out what was wrong with me!
An older Sandra Bullock movie I'd recommend is Speed. It has Mr. John Wick himself, Keanu Reeves, as well. A solid thriller, that one.

They have different prices but i paid the more expensive one like 220 mexican pesos, i think is like 11 dollars. But there’s definitely more affordable prices, i just to wanted to watch the proposal ASAP😂

Loved the reaction! This Proposal is one of those movies that no matter how much it's on TV, you always have to watch it. I'm definitely Team Gosling when it comes to Sexiest Ryan, but I love Ryan Reynolds and how funny and charming he is.
If you're looking for Sandra Bullock recommendations, Speed and While You Were Sleeping are two great movies that made her a star. I also love The Net, Hope Floats, 28 Days (with Viggo Mortensen), and Two Weeks Notice (with Hugh Grant and it's hilarious). Hope to see these on your channel sometime!

My list of favorites growing on this channel. This is my favorite romantic comedy film, I think I've watched it about 10 times.
One of my all-time favorite Rom-Com’s. This is the film that made me a Bullock fan. Both of them were fantastic.
Just by looks, its Ryan Gosling for me. Whole package, Ryan Reynolds for sure.

The great Betty White had a very bawdy sense of humor and she was known and loved for it.
You guys should watch “Miss Congeniality” with Sandra Bullock. Also the movie “Crash” is really good and she’s in that along with a bunch of other big names. I also like “The Vanishing” with Sandra it’s a dark, creepy, thriller. Ryan all I know is Deadpool off the top of my head and "Two Guys a Girl and a Pizza Place” he did back in the day, but that’s a tv show, sitcom.

I'm actually from that part of Alaska and used to travel to Sitka for basketball/softball all the time and the plane ride there is very realistic lol. Also VERY beautiful there, especially during the summers!
