What the Hell, Guys. When did ghosting get into this scenario? Are you kidding me right now? Sometimes I can't stand millennials. Sorry for being blunt.
9:54 OMG, if you do recognize this guy, PLEASE!!!! react to The Invitation (2015). I LOVE that movie to death. I know, it's a slow burn and it's not for everyone, but it's such a great thriller.....
I agree. Top 3 favorite romcoms easily (top 1 actually, when we keep it to that genre) Other ones I love were The Heartbreak Kid, The Holiday and The Ghosts Of Girlfriends Past. Also A Blast From The Past, 50 First Dates and (if that one counts) Keeping The Faith...
The director of this movie said it was hard to get a female lead role for this movie because most girls were intimidated & shy with Ryan during the chemistry read 😭 I would melt too LOL. But of course Emma Stone just kills it 👏🏽
I love the fact that Ryan and Emma have their own cinematic universe: Crazy, Stupid, Love / Gangster Squad / La La Land Another comedy with Ryan I recommend: The Nice Guys
@@bankai786I think Chris Stuckmann gave it a "A+". Most critics who saw it were full of praise, I think even YMS. What you mean is probably "overlooked" rather than "underrated"...
Ryan Gosling is by far the best part of this movie. 😘👌 Watching Hannah and Jacob fall in love over one night was so adorable. I just love that Jacob saw Cal like his father and wanted to help him out and now Cal could possibly become his father-in-law.
I’m shocked at the amount of good movies and shows Bryce hasn’t seen!😧 good thing you guys have this reaction channel 😁💕 I love this movie! …“Be better than the GAP”!😂
Marisa Tomei is so special. If you get a chance, watch My Cousin Vinny. Absolutely entertaining, and it won her an Oscar for best supporting actress in 1992. She was a breakout star. And so hot. Lol
Loved that y'all did this movie!! The way everything comes to a head in the end with the Hannah/Nanna reveal is so iconic, probably one of the best romcom scenes ever with how much is going on in under 5 minutes lmao. And then David Lindhagen coming in at the end to top it all off 😂 If y'all are interested, 'Stuck in Love' is another movie similar to this one! I'd say this movie's comedic timing is unmatched though, and Stuck in Love is a little more on the feels-y side, but it's still got its moments and has a similar plot in that it focuses on the various romances of one family. It's a movie that's pretty underrated, so would love to see your reactions to it if you're ever interested!
I love this movie so much!!! We randomly picked it up one night at the supermarket for movie night years ago and it was so good!!! I also love Ryan Gosling in a more comedic role, he really shows this in the movie The Nice Guys too. He’s the best!!!!
This cast is THE best! But let’s just mention the Robbie kid …. this kid was amazing too! Just found you guys and I loved the reaction. Always one of my fav comedies! You guys should really do My Cousin Vinny with Ralph Macchio, (the Karate Kid reference) and Marisa Tomei. It’s hilarious!
The delusion that this movie instill in men who aren’t Ryan gosling to start acting like Ryan gosling and then be surprised by the very non Ryan response
I love the grown men being so... just SOUND!! Gosling is a smokeshow in this and men pretend they "can't tell cos he's a dude" (Also, as usual, you guys are hilarious 😂)
I can't even with you kids. Marisa Tomei was already a superstar when she was cast as Aunt May. She's not Aunt May from Spider-Man. She's Mona Lisa Vito from My Cousin Vinny, the finest law procedural movie of all time. Tomei won an Academy Award for her role in a comedy.
Probably in my top 3 movies of all times. It is perfection in every way, every role is played perfectly and even the cringe is of the best quality lol. About what you said of Jacob's change. It didn't actually occur to me in all my previous watches until I watched you guys, but I think there is a gorgeous subtle way in which they characterized Hanna. Even though Emma Stone really appears the least on screen, her scenes are truly impactful for us, and for Jake. Every dialog they had was meaningful for his change. And I find many similarities between her character and Steve Carrel's. She looks like Emily but she ACTS like Cal. You talked about some of it; his and hers sincerity, romantic approach, being a bit of a pushover until you crack, her ability to try and see things in a positive light and accepting reality, the try to become a more sexual creature even though your mind is of a romantic one, out of a crisis and epiphany.. All of those are things I think she got from her father. You see him passing those same values to his son as well, during the movie, because he is an active dad, fathering his children, not a prop. It is like she is a projection of him. And so, in a way, Jake, who needs a father figure but meets it in too old of an age, which results in Cal and him becoming some sort of friends instead, changing roles from time to time- he looks at Cal and sees emotions, but the character of Cal, which is passes on to his daughter - that's the father like figure he needed, or at least- that's who shows him the value of love. HE changes him through Hanna. So it's a combination of Cal and Hannah, and I find that super interesting. All in all, hilarious movie, good reaction and even though it is a bit non realistic, who says I am looking for realism when watching a RomCom ?! ;) I adore everything about this movie, from start to finish.
Guys it is soooo healing watching some young dudes react to these movies showing what healthy masculinity looks like. Love you guys - you make me happy :) (this is one of my favorite comedies of all time).
Great reaction. Those are rare. I love this movie, I think it's one of the best romcoms of the 2000's. I must have watched it three or four times. It always works, as a comedy and a drama. The situations are all pretty unusual, you don't get one cliché. Love the babysitter story line, Analeigh Tipton is at the same time sexy and adorable in it (too bad the actress is a headcase). The twist is awesome, you don't get great twists like this in romcoms, it really gives the third act an unexpected energy. The cast is stellar. Steve Carell is one of the best comedians ever (Michael Scott indeed), and Gosling and Stone have a sensational chemistry. Oh, and Marisa Tomei: watch what she did in the 90's. She's great in My cousin Vinny.
Am I the only one that notices when he is training Cal, but the scene with Ryan nude, Cal is lifting waits, but Jacob is standing on his hands and doing push ups?
OMGGGG !!! I was letting my youtube do it's thing on autoplay and I'm so happy!!! just started watching y’all recently and I am hooked!! every video has me laughing. i instantly followed you all!! keep up the amazing work and the fact that this is my favorite movie makes y’all my favorite people ♥️♥️
I’m going to tell you something- it’s confidence that will get you anywhere at a bar talking to a woman who wants to find someone for the night. Confidence & just genuinely a good person.
I'd recommend Stranger than Fiction with Will Ferrell. He's still funny in it but it's more of a serious, dramatic role and I bet you guys would love it
“It’s a sticky situation…” That’s what she said. 😂😂🤣🤣 Marisa Tomei is amazing in ‘The Wrestler’ w Mickey Rourke!!! Always a great reaction; Thank You!! Stay safe & love much💖

The backyard fight is one of the funniest scenes ever filmed.
When Ryan takes off his ring, I always lose it🤣
Yess! 😂
First time I watched it I had to pause the scene to laugh 😂
Agreed
Yes. When they're all grappling and Gosling says, "What are you even grabbing?" and they go down, it is perfection in comedic choreography!
Ryan gosling’s laugh after the cop says “keep it in the family” HAD to have been a real unplanned laugh, it’s too good 😂
I think it was scripted.... 😅🤭
@@chanceneck8072 it actually wasn't. Ryan broke character with that. 😂
This has got to be one of the funniest romcoms ever and Steve carell and Ryan gosling are the perfect duo in this

that's so cool!! :D
The plot twist in this is so golden!

It's such a great line!
I just love how in the beginning Jacob was coaching Cal to be more like him, but in the end he's trying to be more like Cal.
Adorable right? Hahahahha
Ryan Gosling is by far the best part of this movie. 😘👌
Watching Hannah and Jacob fall in love over one night was so adorable.
I just love that Jacob saw Cal like his father and wanted to help him out and now Cal could possibly become his father-in-law.
Seeing you guys hardcore fanboying over Ryan Gosling is just everything 😅❤️
The best thing in this movie to me is Jacob, when David Lindhagen introduced himself, just smacks him in the face 😂🤣
Y’all’s crush on Ryan is ADORABLE. 🥰
the garden scene is just so iconic omfg hilarious
27:05 this whole scene was hilarious. “ she’s an alcoholic” took me out
Bowl? Packed.
Coffee? Poured.
I’m ready to watch! 🥰
Hotel? Trivago
31:42 we all are rob in this scene 😂
Amazing movie! The part when they spend the night just visiting is my fav. It’s so great. Gosling being vulnerable because he has nobody is relatable.
Now you guys need watch Emma and Ryan's insane chemestry in La La Land.
That would be fun! I’m not sure if they’ve ever watched a musical, but La La Land would be a great choice.
