Well, crap. I was watching this and right when you showed the whole trailer, my wife walked by and hollered in my friggin ear "THAT'S WHAT I WANT". Now a broke down retired guy has to find a way to save up some money for it. And here I was planning on making my own for fun, but noooo she wants this one! So now I am rearranging where my desk is so she can not see what I am watching anymore. Kidding aside. I have always been the more rugged bare essential type person, and well, she isn't. So if I want to have her with me at all, I have to provide secure bug free sleeping quarters and a shower. Champaign taste, beer pocketbook.
I did a Cargo Trailer Conversion because I have champagne taste with a beer budget. My trailer actually has higher clearance than my 4Runner (my midlife crisis vehicle). And since I built it I can fix it. Just tell her if you build one you could put a wood stove in it for those romantic nights by the fire...😉
Just discovered your channel and I struck GOLD!! It's so relaxing and exciting at the same time. I love that. Your voice is so soothing it really calms me while dreaming of adventures and living vicariously through your beautiful little family. You've been through hard times, but you prayed and good times found their way back to you. I pray for your family's continued success!
I just found your page, I want to express my condolences for your losses, and I know all to well how you felt, I am truly sorry for that loss. I am glad you are doing a lot better and the family is doing well.
Hands down the best TH-cam channel. I have been endlessly on the Xpedition site since you introduced them on your channel months ago, and hopefully some day, pulling one behind a rig on the trail as well. Such a great time watching your family grow and spend the unforgettable moments as a family. Keep the episodes coming!!
Awesome episode!! Love the trailer. My wife would prefer that to a RTT. You set the standard on Overlanding TH-cam channels. Found the channel in 2021 while recovering from a back operation. Started binge watching and it took away my frustrations of being cooped up in bed. Now I am addicted to Overlanding TH-cam videos. Also bought my first 4WD vehicle a month ago. Kids can’t wait to get camping. Thanks for what you have meant in my life. Watching from South Africa.
You’re making memories as a girl-dad; educating and presenting them to nature. Experiential learning rocks. I lost my two children. Y’all happy and healthy. Happy trails from a misplaced Texan.
Watching this latest video, I was moved by the incredibly thoughtful portrayal of your journey over these past years. The way you brought everything together, leading up to this moment, was incredibly heartwarming and engaging. It's really reassuring to see genuinely good people who aim to brighten others' days getting the recognition they truly deserve. Having the chance to watch your channel grow right from its early days has been so fun to witness. I'm eagerly anticipating the next chapter with the new trailer! I can't wait to see it in person. Thanks for sharing your story with the world!
I found your channel right at the beginning of COVID and I now watch you religiously. I am convinced your channel got many people through some dark times during COVID, including me. I bought my 4Runner this past summer and I plan to get my little family out on the trails in the spring and summer here in Alberta, Canada. That’s an awesome looking trailer. Have a great time with it. You guys deserve it. Thank you for sharing your story with us!!!
So cool. But also emotional. When you were talking about the miscarriages, it really tugged on me. After our first, who's 16 going on 20, we lost three before they were born. It was too emotionally taxing so we called it quits with the blessing we have. Looking forward to seeing what you all do next. Thanks for letting us in to your life.
Great video, I’ve only been watching for about 2 years and didn’t know much of your story. Thanks for sharing. The trailer reveal was great but I wasn’t too surprised since I was able to see it at Expo east. 😊 As always you’re a great story teller and by far my favorite channel to watch, I have used many of your ideas on my own trailer and are an inspiration for our family of 4. My Caroline says hi to your Caroline. 😂
Came here to see a camper but stayed around for the whole story! Thank you for reminding me why we love the outdoors so much and your little miracle brought tears to my eyes. Thanks for sharing!
I always wondered what your backstory was. I find the backstory more interesting than the many awesome videos because often times it is a series events that propels people into their current breakthroughs. This is a great video and I enjoyed hearing about the life events that brought you to where you are today! Love watching your adventures!
That is my dream right there! Overlanding with my girls. We are getting our jeep ready for family trips too. My family enjoys your videos and dreams about trips like yours.
My god, how is it possible to create such a cinematic and emotional masterpiece. There’s no better video to give you guys than with this fantastic summary of your past. Amazing.
I have a Turtleback getaway and I can’t give that thing away. Problem is, it’s one hell of a well built trailer. I think it’s the Covid situation that gave them the sales of the past.
Awesome, great to have the time line laid out. Bummer/glad about the class A, we talked about it last year at Overland West (it's done). Myself, owning a Hiker EOR since 2019 was game a changer. After 40 years of tent/car camping, wind, wet, dust, set up and tear down. And no matter how good the off road trailer with RTT or fast set up. Now you open the door to your trailer and your ready for bed! What 30 second and lights out for some. Key issue for me was no tent flapping wind noise through the night. I still camp with my RTT, but the enclosed trailer is the Cadillac of off road life. Cheers to You, Sarah and growing family blessed with Adventure.
I have loved watching you guys grow over the years. You provide a nice escape for us with your wholesome family values. Thank you. Congratulations on the new trailer. I am eager to see where you go with it!
Thank you for taking us along with your lives and challenges. Your story, while had been hinted to, was never known to me. I cannot imagine those challenges of loss, struggles and wondering what the next day might bring. I applaud you all for pushing through and trying to stay positive when there seemed to be no positivity in sight. I love the new trailer and look forward to your futures.
Wow. Thank you for sharing your story and reasons regarding not sharing some items. I understand, respect, and appreciate the reasons. FWIW: Sharing tough moments may help others understand they are not alone in their challenges. They may find inspiration from your family coping with loss and overcoming setbacks. I wish your family the best in your journeys.
That is awesome!! We also looked at these campers when we were looking for our full time rig! It was neck and neck between this and our Taxa Mantis Overland, the only thing that made us want to do the Mantis was the kitchen and bathroom inside. However it comes with a downside…I feel that it is not as off road capable, still does well on minor trails but there is not much ground clearance. I love y’all’s videos! Keep up the awesome work! Maybe we will cross paths on a trail someday!
So nice to see you and the trailer at Overland Expo Mtn. West. You obviously made it, even if everyone looked a tad tired. Here’s to many great adventures in the new rig!
Thank you for the lookback! Have been watching your videos for awhile and had no idea of the backstories. Wishing your family nothing but the best in your new adventures!
Wow. It's been great watching you and your family grow each year. My wife and I started our journey back in 2017 with the purchase of our 2016 Jeep Jk. We quickly added the RRT and built our first jeep kitchen. Our first trip was Memphis to Parade Island for a full week of beach camping. Oh the wind.... We are now on our second overland trailer that we designed to our needs'. Based in the Memphis area we often head out to the Ozarks or Middle TN. Thank you for sharing your journey. Hope to see you at MOORE next year. All the best Shawn.
10:30 pm and I just got finished watching. Loved the brief recap (can't believe that I've been watching all these years) and recalling the adventures of yore. Also, it just dawned on me that other than those camped at Mt Expo, we were one of the first to see it in public. Really liked the up close and personal tour, all the while seeing the smiles and pride ya'll had. Can't wait to see where you take it and what kind of adventures you have. Until next time... Keep the girls safe, and travel safe.
New life goal unlocked! I travel with my wife and 3 young boys. We love dispersed camping but have tonstick to fairly decent roads with our minivan. Might be time to try out the next "overland" level. First inhave to upgrade my standard garage to an 8 ft garage in order to accommodate the RTT.
What a Great episode!! Thank you for the Master storytelling and rehash of some older clips. I think that I have seen about 95% of your material and consider your family's adventures one of the main reasons why I became interested in sharing my passions. I also appreciate your vulnerability in sharing some struggles. Abbie is a welcome addition to more adventure!! Oh yeah, the new trailer is nifty too. LOL. Thank you, again!!
Holy cow! This looks amazing. I can’t wait to see how this performs ... not that I am expecting anything out of the ordinary. The attention to details and changes that really help your personal situations are NICE.
Thank you for sharing. It is encouraging and inspiring, to say the least. Once you know the story behind the story, everything gets a new perspective and fits into the place.
Loved this episode! I appreciate the open honesty with your background. Happy you guys were able to stay positive and travel through it all. The trailer looks amazing! I love the wrap!
Thanks for sharing all this, aaaall this time. Good and Bad. You give new meaning to the phrase "keeping it real." Honestly, I wept much of the way through this one.
Just an awesome episode! I am sure it is tough to share personal details with strangers, but you don't know how much you touch others' lives when their own struggles and sorrows are validated by knowing you have gone through the same things too. You feel like family to your followers and we are so happy for all the good things happening in your lives. You deserve them all.
I love your story, and the new trailer! Only thing I can think of as an improvement would be some rock lights under the trailer. It's awesome that there are companies in the western world that make these kinds of high quality handmade products! We need more of those.
Thank you for sharing and opening up. You all have a beautiful & blessed family. This has been one of the best episodes you have made, Have a Happy Thanksgiving
I'm genuinely proud and happy for you guys. I know some years haven't been easy, but it makes my heart swell when I see you triumph through the hardships and summit over the challenges. The trailer looks great too!!!
hi there greetings from Wales (where Tom Jones comes from) just found your channel i use to do alot of off road camping in landrovers, your channel is a breath of fresh air on youtube!!!!!!!! can't wait to see your future travels thanks.
You guys...as a dad, who has gone through what you have gone through, i can 100% relate. We finally have our rainbow baby. Love you guys week in and week out. You guys are a huge inspiration for our family. Keep up the amazing work
What a wonderful trip back in time. Enjoyable highlights from videos past, thank you! On a side note, I noticed at the end of the video as you were rolling up the new rear window, you had some residue from the tape left. I have found that WD40 removes the sticky residue fairly easily without damaging the trim or paint, then a gentle soap wash to remove the WD40.
Crazy… I was literally looking at rooftop tents, trailers today pretty extensively. I knew of some prior, however just took a deeper dive today. Anyways, one of them I saw online was the voyager and was going to check it out on TH-cam later. Before hand I was ok with a tent on a trailer not enclosed like a tear drop. Then with the hard shell trailers theres options of heat/ ac and it had me re thinking. The idea of two spaces is also interesting especially if the top tent could be 360 panamera like a odyssey. Anyways, this is the first video I stumbled up with voyager and the story makes it waaaaay better. Super jealous and hope one day our tent adventures takes us over landing
Thank you for sharing! It has been amazing watching your family grow and your amazing trips. You two have a beautiful family! Carolina is growing up and looking so much like her momma. Please keep the videos coming!!!
Man, looks awesome and love the innovation of the pass through to the rtt. Now it’s time to wrap whichever your primary puller will be with a matching wrap!
I’ve been watching you guys for several years and this was so fun to watch. Loved the trip down memory lane too. I’m beyond excited for you guys and what’s next. Thank you for sharing!!!
I've been so fortunate to have been with your absolutely amazing adventures since the sale of your 5th wheel...I am so glad I came across your fun, beautiful adventures channel...seeing your progression on exploration and the growth of your beautiful family. Love the new trailer, too! Keep these videos flowing!
I grew up in the Jemez Mountains in NM and love watching your adventures (especially the ones in NM). I was told I would never have kids ...but someone had different plans for me too. I now live in Idaho with my one homegrown and two store-bought kids in my sticks-n-bricks. I built my own 5x10 trailer that I pull with my 4Runner named Tank Girl. I have different future plans for my rig but Sarah is right, sleeping IN the trailer and a ready to cook kitchen IS the life! Now the only remaining question...what's the trailers name?
What a beautiful story, thank you for sharing. Your new trailer is amazing, I can't wait to follow this new and exciting chapter of your life. Best wishes!!!
Love the red lights. It would be awesome it the outside porch lights were dimmable and also had red. They are very bright and kinda in your face. But love the new upgrades..
Good gosh Kevin and Sarah! first off the backstory Kevin, thank you! most of us that have followed for years know it along the way but now everyone is caught up! just epic story telling here in this one!! top notch all around guys! the new trailer is dreamy. cannot wait to see it highlighted in future eps. now get back to alaska please :) I'm looking to take my first trip there. need some campsite location ideas :)
Impressed with the trailer, quality appears to up there (only so much one can tell from a video). In my opinion, the functionality isn't at the same level as Patriot Campers however for the price this is extremely good. Thanks for sharing. Cheers from OZ

This is by far THE BEST EPISODE, IT BROUGHT ALL THE MEMORIES OF ALL THE EPISODES I HAVE WATCHED TILL DATE .😊
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it!
That new trailer is epic! We are very excited for you!
The first 15 minutes were a wonderful and moving retelling of what came before. Beautiful work!
Thanks, Steve!
I came here to see the new trailer. But the story caught me off guard and got me chocked up. I’ve been watching for years and love this channel.
Still love our turtleback Getaway. Thankfully they are back.
Still have our Getaway too. Sadly, not hearing great things about the new TB owners.
I remember seeing their trailer for the first time in Colorado 2 years ago. Always loved the design.
Prayer is always a good thing. Glad TH-cam recommended this video.
That’s a great recap! I always liked that y’all were from Tennessee as that’ll be my base camp one day.
Oh my goodness, there it is! Can't wait to watch you guys enjoy this new adventure.
I just found your page, I want to express my condolences for your losses, and I know all to well how you felt, I am truly sorry for that loss. I am glad you are doing a lot better and the family is doing well.

What a walk down memory lane! You are a great storyteller. Excited to see this next chapter unfold.
Thank you so much!
P.S watching your first girl grow, brings a tear to my eye. looking forward to your upcoming video's.
You're the definition of wholesome. Thank you for sharing your story.
Wow, thank you!
You’re making memories as a girl-dad; educating and presenting them to nature. Experiential learning rocks. I lost my two children. Y’all happy and healthy. Happy trails from a misplaced Texan.

What a beautiful little family, thanks for sharing your life and amazing trailers, sending love from the UK 🇬🇧
Getting way fancy ... all the best, growing the channel.
Beautiful & thoughtfully designed rig from the huck bolted frame up!!!

The economy has slowed a lot of sales down. This is the worst time of year to move one too.

You all are awesome! Further in … it’s the only direction any of us can go in this thing called life. Happy trails.
Good insights into the trailer. Great story telling too. 👏👏👏
I'll have to catch it later in the day. Can't wait to see it though.

God has blessed us all with the birth of your second daughter.
Absolutely! She's such a blessing
Thank you for the lookback!
Have been watching your videos for awhile and had no idea of the backstories.
Wishing your family nothing but the best in your new adventures!

love the set up there, did anyone notice the "yeti" on the front by the propane tanks..nice touch..
wow very interesting content friend
Thank you so much 🙂
you're welcome@@LifestyleOverland
Thank you for the historical recap of your expedition. And the sharing of your new trailer. 😎👍
Wow guys, that trailer is absolutely Gorgeous! Can't wait to see it out in it's natural habitat.
Beautiful story. Please continue the same
GREAT ADVENTURES & STORIES! Watched your full video! Thank you. We will always have memories also.
Of course you know you need to wrap Aspen to match now! Happy Thanksgiving!!
Thanks for sharing your journey and inspiring my family’s adventures.
Congratulations on your new build. Can't wait on your next chapter. Hopefully your newest Star ✨ will settle in
Thanks for sharing all this, aaaall this time. Good and Bad. You give new meaning to the phrase "keeping it real." Honestly, I wept much of the way through this one.
Just an awesome episode!
This was an awesome 👌 Thanks for sharing your videos and may all good things come to this family 👪 😊 ❤
congrats! super nice rig! happy for all of you! continued travel mercies and blessings!🕊
Thanks so much!!
Thank you for sharing and opening up. You all have a beautiful & blessed family. This has been one of the best episodes you have made, Have a Happy Thanksgiving

If I’m not in he woods doing some exploring then I’ll be at the tube waiting to watch! 😁
hi there greetings from Wales (where Tom Jones comes from) just found your channel i use to do alot of off road camping in landrovers, your channel is a breath of fresh air on youtube!!!!!!!! can't wait to see your future travels thanks.
12:55 I’m not crying….
You guys...as a dad, who has gone through what you have gone through, i can 100% relate. We finally have our rainbow baby. Love you guys week in and week out. You guys are a huge inspiration for our family. Keep up the amazing work
I used to do supplies purchasing in manufacturing and this behind the scenes is geeking me out. Congratulation’s on the new rig
Thanks for sharing your families struggles and history. Best of luck in your next endeavors!
Crazy… I was literally looking at rooftop tents, trailers today pretty extensively. I knew of some prior, however just took a deeper dive today. Anyways, one of them I saw online was the voyager and was going to check it out on TH-cam later.

Thank you for sharing! It has been amazing watching your family grow and your amazing trips. You two have a beautiful family! Carolina is growing up and looking so much like her momma. Please keep the videos coming!!!
Great video! I for one am excited to see your next adventures with the new trailer and growing family! Excited everyone has their space!❤

Man, looks awesome and love the innovation of the pass through to the rtt. Now it’s time to wrap whichever your primary puller will be with a matching wrap!
God bless you Sir & your family wish you the best in your endeavors.
youtube is a better place with people like you on it.
Great memories! Nice to see how y’all got started and your journey so far. Safe travels.

Literally #Goals thank you for the insight and sharing your joy with the world. Really enjoy your content...You just inspired the adventurer in me.

Love the red lights. It would be awesome it the outside porch lights were dimmable and also had red. They are very bright and kinda in your face. But love the new upgrades..
That would be a nice touch too. I kinda want red lights everywhere now lol

Impressed with the trailer, quality appears to up there (only so much one can tell from a video). In my opinion, the functionality isn't at the same level as Patriot Campers however for the price this is extremely good. Thanks for sharing. Cheers from OZ
Congratulations! Beautiful rig y'all!!
