I love little country towns... no matter where they are...quiet, clean, fresh air....
But , Vic is not a quiet person...... 😕
I'm from Oban and know exactly where you are have walked along that road and over the golf course so many times. Oban is a town of 8000ish people, not really city. I'm so glad you visited Scotland and thought it beautiful, it really is, l feel very fortunate. Safe journey to Italy 😊

@@ObanBobyour right I worked in Oban as a chef in the great western hotel 1972 1975 I walked all over Oban in the winter months when the hotel was closed can’t believe the change in Oban it’s so commercial now

We're taught here to walk on the same side as oncoming traffic (right-hand side, so you can establish eye contact, and don't have your back towards traffic), but always walk on the OUTSIDE of a bend (even if it means putting your back towards the traffic by crossing the road).
Excellent advice for all we; "Left-hand-side Drivers, and Walkers"!!....😉...😉...!

I'm really enjoying these vids of you showcasing the best of our imperfect island. If you want to be stunned by the natural beauty of the UK countryside visit Aviemore in the Scottish Highlands. My parents were Irish but gave strict instructions to have their ashes scattered in Aviemore.
Wales is another beautiful country, full of breathtaking hills and valleys, hundreds of miles of gorgeous untouched beaches and castles/ruins which were built 800 years ago.
England also has its share of gems, Cornwall, the Lake District, the Malverns, Cotswolds etc are all stunning areas of outstanding natural beauty.
Rain, schmain... I bet its still a lot warmer than NJ right now? And when the sun shines during the fortnight we call summer, there is a festival atmosphere in those coastal towns.
I'm really critical of lots of aspects of the UK, especially the morons who govern us, either by elections or the inbreds who live in palaces purely by accidents of birth.. but I couldn't live anywhere else.
