Thanks for posting this, I rage quit the game earlier today. Boss fights where you need to fight in a very specific way and the game fails to give adequate explanation are one of my top pet peeves in gaming. This was a very badly designed boss fight.

Who else agrees that porky puff here is just unnecessarily hard if you fight him the way the game tells you to, also during the second fase I just beat him by going in circles around him at mid range spraying fullauto, the boulders aren't exactly homing as if you doge at the right moment in the direction the boulder is coming from you can avoid them with relative ease and when he does his earth core just double jump over it.
Ya. The boulders were easy to dodge.
After wasting 5 small health packs while trying to drag those mines "under" him like the narrator said to do...
I came searching on TH-cam lol. I only got 2x mines to explode close enough to damage him and I'm pretty sure I only took away 2% of his health doing that. I knew I was doing something wrong lol. Nice vid, thanks!

Thank you for this. I spent 30 min pulling those stupid mines around and only got him 1/4 way down. Found this video, and ended up killing him in less than 5 minuets.
Thanks for the tips, I wasn't expecting such a frustrating boss fight so early in the game. It's pretty difficult to dodge his attacks, and dragging the bombs to him didn't seem to do much of anything. With your help, I've managed to defeat him!
When I first fought this boss, I thought the only way to defeat him was through using the bombs.

Good strats! I managed to finish the fight in 3minutes 48 seconds without taking damage. Definitely some room for improvement speed wise

Oh I knew but had no clue you could click it to stay sprinting so everytime my thumb got tired and I let up I was actually turning the sprint off smh 😂😂

Thank you! I was using dual wield pistols and could not get a hit on the warts at all! I ground up some garbage and crafted a super powerful rifle and it was a piece of cake
This is an example of how NOT to design a boss!!
If you focus on range (IE Dead Eye, Commando) and ignore the 'advice' the narrator tells you then its quite easy.
If you focus on melee or psi then its a pain!
Why do developers keep making bosses that are stupid hard unless you play a cirtain way?!!
Its the devs fault for not ironing out the kinks when they made the boss. I ignored what they wanted me to do in the first part of the boss fight and it was easy. Devs these days dont put enough focus on their game. they just want ot make a bgi game.
This boss was tough. I thought the combat was on the easy side until I fought him.
I knew that there was an easier way to kill this boss than carring the mines. TY, you saved me a lot of time...after quite a lot of deaths.
Level 14 did it but used about 12 health packs because I didn't have regen thanks
I thought I had to plot bombs under him. After watching this video Killed him on the first try.

This helped a ton. i kept trying to do the bombs and couldnt get a single hit. switched to the tribe boomerang weapon and just circled it and peppered it with shots.
I agree the bombs are pointless I just dual wielded my guns and got it done super fast

I prepared for so long I had a powerful auto with radiation that sprays but rewards aiming, honestly I was afraid to do this.
I was playing on medium..tried this way died. Switched to EASY..still kept dying. Guess I am a noob

I don't know that this is easy, but it is easier than dealing with the mines.
I thought I would have to stay on the water for the whole fight. Right as I got to the second phase I just used my ki (I’m on a psy freak character)

Mines bugged. Just shows infinite health even after a mine hit
You have to hit of very close otherwise it wont hit but you van better shoot at the legs like the guy said

As much as i love the Aesthetics of the game the user interface is so messy. And the glitches! If not for this video i wouldn't have know my guns not firing was a glitch. I assumed you only had to use the mines 😅.
