It’s basically all the departments you would find in a regular hospital. ER,ICU, labor and delivery, Maternal infant unit, Peds, family medicine, Derm, Anesthesia, MSU, ENT, etc.... there’s so many more lol
We didn't have no damn sponsor we arrived at our command and they act like they didn't even know we was coming lol. Matter of fact we paid for our taxi to get to base, everything you said they did we did ourselves, went to where they said our ship was guess what these fuckers was underway lol. I don't know how we knew what to do be went to the barracks and check ourselves in. We was there for a week standing duty at a command that wasn't even ours. Once the ship pulled in our command was dumbfounded like we didn''t know you was coming. They requested 2 new SHs but didn't know we was coming okay. Take note this was all right after 9/11 but I remember this like it was yesterday.
I talked to my recruiter beginning of May I’m currently in school for nursing but the recruiter said for sure I would not get any type of medical job and that the navy was demoting over 130,000 people in the medical field. The only way to do any type of medical would be as a civilian is this true?
